hey there, just thought I'd introduce myself.  I've recently developed an obsession with parkour..... problem is I live on the canadian prairies, and it's the dead of winter.  There's nothing for me to do but work out in my living room and watch lots of videos.  I've noticed that chicks  are somewhat rare in this sport, so I guess it's important for us to stick together  ;)

I've always been the running-jumping-climbing type of person, so it's no surprise that this appeals to me, and it's funny, for the first time I'm actually motivated to get in shape.  At 25, I wonder if I may have missed to boat on this one, but so far I'm having fun.

Looking forward to getting to know you guys,

ursa

I know how you feel! It's been snowing in CO for like, three weeks! We get a few feet, one of those feet melt and then another few feet and so on. It's getting annoying!

Oh and hi there! Welcome!

Emmie Woody:

Freya:
Hi all!  I'm really new to parkour...in fact, I honestly just discovered it today and I've decided I'd love to try it.  And I'm 25 too.  It's good to see other gals here my age...I don't feel so odd now!  Have you guys been doing this a while or have you just started?

I'm a competitive fencer, so I'm in decent condition, but not nearly as much as I want to be.  Parkour looks like it is awesome for all around fitness, and besides, even before I knew parkour existed I've always thought it would be awesome to be able to do stuff like this!

Anyway, nice to meet you all!  If anyone has any tips or advice, I'd love to hear it!
