Shoes!?

(1/3) > >>

Donald Morrow:
I have been surfing the forums for a brief time here, and I'm trying to figure out what sort of shoes would be best for parkour, for a guy like me.

Many people say anything works. In fact, I've seen vids of people doing it in sandals, but I was just wondering if there is any sort of shoe out there that would work well for us bigger folk (I'm 6'1, 260lbs at the moment) with size 13/14. I was looking at Airakes (I think...) and they only go up to size 12.

Any input will be greatly appreciated. Thanks :)

Donald Morrow:
Bump :)

New ariake coming out. Five Ten makes Freerunning shoes that are overall pretty decent except on slick stuff. You could check them out. I switch between my Ariakes and a paid of Reebok Valde Ind. But you can't find the Reebok's anymore so boo too that. :/ However I also have a pair of Five Ten's I use every now and then. Just depends what I feel like rocking. Also, I just ordered some Nike's that I'll be testing out here soon. For shoes in general though, I'd look for something like an Indoor Soccer shoe. Those shoes are the ones that have worked best for me apart from Parkour specific shoes.

I'd recommend the Warhawk Personally.

Donald Morrow:
Thanks. I'll take a look at all of them.

Also another shoe you can take a look at are the Asics Onitsuka Tigers. I've heard really good reviews about them and thinking of buying myself a pair
