I usually just run and go for it, the landing hurts a little, but I get every time..... If you know your balance in the air, then you will not land on your head.....be sure to tuck and try to get a soft landing. Im yet to master it, but I watched a few videos and tried it for myself...... I also started on a wall and worked my way to the ground...... I hope it works for you, Good Luck!

It's easier to barani (1/2) or rudi (3/2) than front full imo...

Anyway, the technique is the same as a back full. You're better off practicing this in the gym.. and it is much easier doing it straight body than tucked because it has a different feeling to it. Most twisting is learned layed out anyway which is what I wrote the advice for the back full thread on.

In any case, what you want to do is get a nice set off the ground with your arms up... initiate the twist with your arms overhead and then wrap them to one side like you would with a back full. This will generate the rotation that you need to complete the twist. Make sure you are getting a good set and NOT dropping your torso forward or trying to flip over quickly (well, until you get it proficient which is why I said to learn in the gym first) as you will not be able to complete the twisting if you do either of those. Once you get used to the feeling, do it earlier and earlier and let your takeoff be shallower. This is how you can work up to the rudi, 2/1, randi, etc.

I was wondering about that..... now are you tucked or layed out?

its not that im scared to do it...i just dont spin all the way...and then landing on ur back hurts but the landing mats we have take some of the impact...ok...so i jump just like a reg front and do the samething for a back full?

Um, generally. I would need to see your attempts to see what you are or aren't doing right/wrong. Don't dip your torso though as I mentioned before as that will make you rotate too fast (and make your flip too low) to do anything out of it. You need a good solid block and set and then initiate twisting.

no its a front flip with a 360 degree spin. like a back full is a back flip with a 360 degree spin.  :)
