I am new to the parkour scene and would love to find some people around who are willing to train a bit.

When you started Parkour: Just started messing around and training a bit about a month ago (May 2011)
What days are good for you: Work Schedule varies but I have time every day.
How far you'd be willing to travel for a jam: I don't have a car right now but could find one and would travel.

Any tips as to the best way to get started would be awesome.

I have been simply doing the exercises and daily workouts on this site but still haven't really done anything with the training.

Got most vaults down pact, working on more complicated flips. Wondering where good training spots are because trees, picnic tables and playgrounds arent cutting it anymore :p

How's it going Kyle and... Kyle? Glad you two could join us. If you two have any questions about the Ohio scene, feel free to drop me a line. If you're looking to progress, APK has some great tutorials, Youtube has some, or you could always do it the old-fashioned way and train with a nearby group. Don't know where one is? Awesome, I'll help locate the nearest group to you. Even if you can't go every week, just the boost that training with live people brings is astounding. Stay in touch.
