Any tips on how I can improve it?
This is what I could do so far.

Try diving farther out.  Or keep your head down and your but up this will help incress your hang time as well and set you up for a double if you so wish.  But looking at this video you will easly clear it with out putting your hand down if your put your hands down more towards the middle.

You are closer to a Kash than a catpass.

Here are some areas of improvement:
  • The first contact of your hands is the lip closest to you. Since this is a longer catpass, you want your hands to first contact closer to the opposite lip of your obstacle (yes, you will have to dive).
  • You want your body to be leaning slightly forward after the maneuver. Avoid "reaching" with the legs. This will put you into a good roll position.

I don't recommend going for this diving catpass straight away. Use progression techniques.
Find a place where you can practice close catpasses. When you get better, start taking off from a little farther away. When you are able to perform a catpass from about 3 to 4 feet away (running start) from your obstacle, then I think you will be ready to traverse that cement thingimajiggie with good form.

pretty good dude, if you can launch yourself over that block thats pretty good.

if you want to clear it all in one fluid motion dive and reach for the end of it. also i would advise leaning forward (honestly even dipping your head to raise your hips) so that when your hands make contact you just push off to orient yourself for the landing.

also, upon approach you kind of have one shoulder pointing towards the obstacle. you want to eliminate this, things will go smoother and feel better when you just go straight over it. just work on it more and you have it.

my mind is constantly moving, one day my body will be strong enough to keep up.

Thanks all for the advice.

I'll probably start training on smaller walls to perfect my kongs.
Off to train  :)

where do people still call it a cat pass?
I like Tricking and Free Running, i don't think i actually do parkour, because i do it for fun and self expression, which would change the term to free running.
