Boy : There is no spoon.
Neo : There is no spoon?
Boy : Then you will see, it is not the spoon that bends, it is only yourself.

hey im putin on a presentation 4 a parkour/freeunning club on monday (wish me luk)
but besides that i got some funny stories

one time my friend slept over my house we were so stoked on training all night that we couldnt wait till mourning so we went to a school down the street to train, mind you its roughtly 200am we train for about an hour and find a possible way up onto the roof about 5 trys and were both up we walk around high on life andthe triumph and then we begin to get down and a cop pulls up behind the school and see's us infact he stops and blinks his lights ,but there is a foot ball field sized lot and some jungle gym equiptment between him and us so he begins to pull around a side street to get to a main street that the school is on seeing the cop we take off running, we have to cross a bridge about 500 yards away before the cop even gets to the main roead and can see us but for some odd reason we make it and proceed to jump into some lady's garden and lay down flat the cop car comes and turns intop the school parking lot we get up and dash acrost a feld to a short cut to my street but the lights come sweeping tward us as he turns around so we slide onto ous stomaches ,the lights pass over us and he drives away , damn that was close

anothor time me and my friend were practicing wall runs and cats on my high school and we got on the roof no sooner than we did the janitor sees us and yells at us to get down so we do and he's a cool guy and let us off but my friend was so scared he ran to the othor side of the building waited till the janitor left and got down there and then ran back around to meet us like 5 min later....paranoid much lol

okay so I'm back in school now and it's my senior year. a lot of my friends from last year have graduated so I spend almost all of my lunch period practicing parkour/tricking now so far this year I have not gotten any complaints about my behavior from faculty but I do seem to attract a crowd of spectators whenever I practice which can be distracting but I find is kinda cool too.
okay my schools faculty sucks balls now! due to something or another noones allowed outside during school anymore not even during lunch, hell we're not even allowed to walk to our next class through the courtyard anymore! this hasn't kept me from finding some way to train at school though. now during lunch I practice tricking in the commons area of the lunch room and have so far managed to get away with it with minimal problems sort of my way of protesting the schools bullshit as of late.

The teachers have a point. You may very easily hurt yourself, especially when you are in areas crowded with other students. Wait until the place has cleared out after school.

(Though, I myself have begun to see random things about the architechure of my school that I had never seen before.)
Yeah, me and some friends just now noticed that we can climb onto the roof of the school, but we almost got caught. But seriously though, don't do parkour at your school until after-hours, and even then you should probably have some friends around to spot for you. If you get hurt you need someone around to help you out.

the only thing you can practice in my school is a tic tac or a wall run (and the falls associated with them)

my school has ramps that are shaped like a standard Z shaped ramp. At the highest point the drop is  over 20 feet. The floor is made of tile and the walls are made of brick (the course kind)  so its great for practicing your tic tacs or for testing how high you can wall run .

If you dont get caught by a teacher that is

unfortunatly we dont ahve a real campus so we dont have any rails that line otuside walkways.

In my school's cafetiria there are no teachers around so i occasionaly practice my kongs of the tables and tic tacs onto tables ( the tables are sturdy).

Yeah, same here. Although if you can find a low roof, you can use it to get on ur school like I did ;D

actually the school i do live near, but not attend, has no low roofs, it was designed so that the only way to the roof was from the inside. well guess who proved them wrong? yea it was me, while not using parkour, i managed to climb a vertical pole mounted to the side of the building.... its rather breathtaking to be hanging on for your life 3 story's above the ground with nothing to get a grip on whatsoever...

if i was better at wallrunning i could get onto a storage shed near the school and jump from there to the roof.

but im not that good

The school that i go to(that i also live across from) is like a parkour palace the place is big it has a ton of very gripy rails so its perfect for precisions and wall runs. pinic tabels all over the place thats good for kongs theres alot of these 6, mmaybe 7ft. drops so thats good for lands and rolls.Da only thing is i never got a chance to hit this place up plus i just injured myself a day ago.
Shit happens.

at my school i got yelled at for jumping over the rail down to the lower gym because i didnt want to take the stairs and the teacher yelled at me.(but thats another post)
So now i just wake up at 6 get ready then run to school. i usually get there an hour early so guess what i do... i practice my parkour and no one cares because school hasnt started yet. then i also do it right when school ends.
