I am such a huge jeff loomis fan and i honestly believe he is one of the best metal guitarists out there man. Please, i implore you, if you havent checked this guy out and your a metal fan your doing yourself a disservice.

Awesome:
Completed a challenge.
Encouraged a couple of younger kids (about 4 & 5) to keep trying to tic-tac an object, after their parents tried to warn/scold them, by tic-tac-ing it myself and getting huge air time off of it. (I heard some awesome comments from behind me as I was in the air, and the kids going "OHHH!")
Worked on applying wrist locks in my martial arts class.
EDIT: I just remembered! A street poet asked me if I would like to hear a poem, and I took a chance and said yes. His poem was about an eagle soaring to great heights, but eventually it died and the only thing it passed on was its own knowledge to its eaglets teaching them how to fly and reach great heights. Then he spoke of a new, younger eagle taking up this mantle and soaring to even greater heights, only to repeat and continue this cycle. (I am bastardizing this but it was an amazing poem, I will try to find him again and buy a copy to share.)

Sucked : Actually happened on Thursday, but I went to the doctor about some back pain issues and was told I had a torn muscle. I can't do certain things that stretch my back, so that means no handstands for 2-3 weeks

put a bunch of new music on the ipad, went into the front yard and conditioned until my core couldnt take v-ups anymore. This, I must do more often.

Also, spoke to some friends i left once i moved up here to st george and got some stuff off my chest. it felt good to remove that weight from my shoulders.

Tomorrow should be an amazing day!

Worked on cartwheels, handsprings, macacos, rolls, and general flow.
Kind of awesome, mostly suck:
I was approached by an on foot police officer who thought I was a thief, because there had been break-ins in the area. (My clothes probably did not help). When asked I showed my ID, and talked. Two more cops showed up on bicycles, who had already passed by earlier and gave me glances. The first officer said that he did not think it was me because, and I quote "I watched, and he was just practicing his ninja flips."
Anyways...I told them that I am more of the type to chase down a thief, and that it is not likely they would get away. One officer said "Good" *thumbs up* The officers laughed, I laughed at them...

Then told them if I hear anything I will let them know. They left me alone.
I am going back tomorrow or Wednesday with a video camera, so uploads soon.

My grandfather went into surgery for a quad bypass open heart surgery today...

Amazing:
He made it out just fine <3

Sucks, again:
He has to get another surgery done due to having one of his veins in his throat 70% blocked :/

Awesome: Just set up my brand new computer (and put a new graphics card in it) that apparently was a fantastic deal for the price I paid (so says my cousin who builds computers. I don't know a thing about them). Yay for having a computer that will actually run video games!
Sucks: I don't actually have time to play computer games. Or sleep, for that matter. Yay school.

30 degrees outside and snow covering the ground. Didn't stop me and my friend from training though.

Bad: My friend did a wall spin on a tree and landed, I went and slipped turning my take off due to the snow and hit the tree with my leg.
Worse part, cut my hand. Dime sized cut, so no problem. Just mad that I couldn't do it outside when I did it on concrete walls at the gym two Fridays ago :/
