Female vs. Male pain
« on: January 18, 2011, 08:31:30 AM »
okay lemme rant here a sec...

Guys have their one weakness, right? If you give em a swift kick between the legs, they're gonna go down.  But I was drilling kong-precisions the other day and I kneed myself in the boob.  There was about two minutes of rolling on top of the obstacle and moaning in pain.  It was not a pretty sight.  But beside the boob weakness, if you've even gotten kicked in the vagina, or have done a "ball precision", then you know it hurts just as much.  Another war story is that I was drilling standing tucks and I was determined to land on both my feet in a straight line.  I was successful, but basically with my heel and digging into my crotch.  That one certainly didnt feel good.  And then of course there's PMS and not to mention labor...

So in summary, ladies have far more pain, physical AND emotional (due to hormones and stuff like that), than the occasional hit to the balls or random erection that a man may have to deal with.

sorry just felt like quasi-ranting this morning

Yeah, but we complain about it much less, since we have a higher tolerance for it.   My worst memory was as a kid, slipping on a bar and catching it between the legs!  It's good to have people who can relate to our lady parts problems, eh?

When I was little, I was riding my bike, one foot slid off the pedal and BAM crotch-metal bar collision x.x
I've done the heel-crotch landing too >.>

I hear you Kendy.

I've gotten a skateboard to the crotch before. Not fun at all.

Reminded me of when Lois falls down and pulls a Peter. But yes it hurts....reminds me of when I'd play Breast Cancer with some of my friends. Punching each other in the boob or chest. It was quite stupid...

I wouldn't necessarily argue women have more pain during training, but I would argue for guys to realize that it hurts like crazy when we get hit in those vital regions.
I have done quite a few landings on the lady parts, and owwww. (Turn vault, anyone?)
And my boobs have definitely gotten in the way before >.< ouchy. (totally kongs)

Ok that whole bicycle bar between the legs...Experienced that OUCH! And I was doing a dyno and smacked my chest into the wall. It was a funny moment but major boob pain. And my boobs are just too little for hitting on a kong but I have come close. And usually I train through my period but it does make me feel like crap so I don't really train 100% but then it depends on how crappy I really feel.

But thanks Kendy. Men like to make a big deal out of one problem they have. It looks so easy being a man though so I don't know what all their whining is about. hahahaha...I'd like to see them bleed for 5 days or push out a baby thanks very much.

Well I know you posted this in the Women's board but I think it's only fair if guys can have their input on this subject too.

I HIGHLY doubt that getting hit in the crotch hurts "just as much". The testicles are to men what the ovaries are to women. If you ever get a straight shot to the ovary (which is pretty much impossible as they're behind the abdominals) then you can try to tell me it's the same. Getting so much as flicked in the nuts can cause a guy to keel over in pain and have tears in his eyes. I've NEVER seen a girl do that even if the hit is harder. The pain has been compared to a blow to the breast, but it's not the same.
I agree, girls have another play to get hit, but I think that just kind of evens the playing field.

We'll have to agree to disagree, because I'm not paying for the surgery to find out what it really looks like.  Plus, I like my vijajay.  Although the convenience of standing up to pee makes me a bit jealous.

I have been tempted to buy this device:

http://www.go-girl.com/

It sounds awesome, and there's tons of reviews regarding the device.

That is DEFINITELY not worth it
The extra 4-5 seconds we gain from peeing standing up does not constitute buying an awkward vag-funnel... lol

It's killer to me to just run the 2 weeks before pms! My books are so sensitive! & I'm a EE cup.... not to mention just the random hits! I think a lot of times guys are just better conditioned for pain.... they have a higher tolerance.  Joe broke his wrist & grimaced... I broke mine & spent 3 days crying into my pillow.  As much as I hate to say it- we are delicate creatures... porcelain compared to oak.... we are going to hurt more. PLUS comparatively does a girl get hit in the books (which is the same as a boy's testicles pain due to the extreme amount of nerve endings) more than a boy gets hit in the testies absolutely! Guys can guard their junk.... for those of us blessed with an overabundance of chest we can't protect them or cover them with a steel sports bra so its way more likely that we'll get hit! & racking yourself is incredibly painful regardless of gender.
Because that's the way I tuck and roll...

That probably would have been a good idea...I've see your pictures of the bathrooms in China on FB.

Hmm I guess I didn't take into consideration those of you that are "gifted" in that area haha. I could see how that would get annoying, but so does the males "junk" flapping around... haha  ;D

And eww... I guess those would be okay for nasty toilets, but if you're in a clean environment I don't think they're worth it

I think if one guy gets to put his input in so should another, lol.

So basically what you are ranting about is how guys are better than girls? You've basically said you wish you had less parts like us and that you wish you could pee like us. lol  :P

Ok, guys. Seriously, if you wanna talk about this, put it on the general forum. Or pm each other. The point is that it's a women's only section.

And I don't think the argument is that guys are better.
I'm certainly not arguing that one. Haha.
