r u supposed to scratch yr shoulder
No, your body should have enough forward speed and rotation so that your shoulder doesn't have to start the rotation. What do I mean by that?
Imagine that you have a ball. You want to roll it on the ground.
You can do two things:
1. Throw it low without rotating it. If you do that, the ball will hit the ground and grind against it, friction between the ball and ground will start the ball's rotation, then it will keep rolling without much friction.
If the ball's exterior is weak, and you do this for a while, the ball will get scratched up really bad.
2. Place the ball on the ground first, rotate it and let it go. If you do that, the ball has enough rotation, so it doesn't need that much friction to keep rotating.
No matter how weak or how often you roll it like that, it will remain intact.
As I see it, you're rolling like the first scenario.
