Today was easy. I did basic core training. I worked on my front lever. I did front tuck lever for 20 secs, 20 secs, 10 secs, and 10 secs for a total of 1 minute. Then I moved to bent knee sits. I can't do a good enough L-sit yet. I did 30 secs and 30 secs. Then I did some random handstands and rolls. And that was my day.

Well I did a basic warm-up. 3 rounds of 5 pullups, 10 pushups, and 15 squats.
I also did my first pistol! Not a big accomplishment but it's exciting to me.
I'm going to the rock gym later so that will give me some more training.

Goals:
        -15 second handstand
        -15 second tuck planche
-1 head to ground handstand pushup

I've taken a break over the holidays. Today I'm gonna get back into it today with a cindy! I went to the rock gym a couple of times over the break. So at least I wasn't doing nothing.

Cindy: 5 pull-ups, 10 pushups, 15 squats, as many sets in 20 min as possible.
                Results:
I did 8 rounds,1 better than the last time i tried this :D for a total of:
40 pullups, 80 pushups, and 120 squats!
Goals:
        -15 second handstand
        -15 second tuck planche
-1 head to ground handstand pushup

Today I went to the open gym at my gymnastics gym. Worked on my vaults a lot. There weren't too many people so it was great. I also worked on my rolls briefly but then moved on to flips. I was on a trampoline for a lot of the time. Then I started working on my pistols. I heard that doing a muscle up on rings is easier than doing it on a bar, so i decided to try it! At first I couldn't even do a dip, but after working on it I felt good.

Then I did my first real muscle up! Very exciting :D
Goals:
Muscle up
one handed pushup
One handed negative pull-up

Goals:
        -15 second handstand
        -15 second tuck planche
-1 head to ground handstand pushup

I was reading some of my older posts, and I realized I have accomplished two of my 3 short term goals! I have varying goals, depending on what I'm working on, and finishing these just showed me what focusing on a couple goals can really do! So here's what I've done:

10 Pullups
L-Sit 10 secs
Head to Floor HSPU

Only one more to go!
Goals:
        -15 second handstand
        -15 second tuck planche
-1 head to ground handstand pushup

So anyways, despite not posting for a while, I have been working out a lot. I'm going to really try and use this forum better. So I've been trying to work my way up to planche by working the various progressions. I already finished doing frog stance for 1 min, so now I'm working towards a tuck planche. It's Hard! Right now I'm doing as little sets as possible whose times add up to 1 min. Right now I'm doing about 5-8 second sets. since I'm really focusing on the right form.

I'm alsoworking a lot on my handstands. I've always wanted a good handstand, but never had the strength or balance for one. And now I'm happy to say, I'm further on the path then ever before!  :D I'm working on walking on my hands currently, Yesterday I walked for about 6-8 feet average, which was really cool. I can't do a very good stationary handstand yet, usually about 5 secs, but I'm getting there.

Lastly I'm training for a muscle-up on a bar. I came very close last week at the gym, but just fell short. So, since there's no place to practice dips, I've only been practicing weighted pull-ups. I weigh bout 120 lbs right now, and I'm doing pull-ups with my own badly made weight belt, about 25 lbs. I do 3 sets of 5 pull-ups.

So that's the update! I'll post more soon, bye!

Easy day yesterday, I worked on my planche progressions. So I've been really trying to work on my flexibility as well. i stretched for about ten minutes , then I did tuck planche for a total 1 minute. It took me about 7 rounds of as long as i can, so I've got a long way to go. After that I started with my psuedo planche push ups. I did maybe 20, they're getting easier. Well that's the update! I'm going to the gymnastics gym today so I'll see if I can get this muscle up, fingers crossed!

Today was finally warm :D But there's still a lot of snow here in PA. I'm still sore from the work I did yesterday at the gym, but I did my best anyway. I've been trying this wall run, the actual wall is maybe 17-20 feet tall, but there's another wall next to it that's about 12 feet high, but it doesn't touch the ground. So I've been starting on the one wall and jumping to the other one. I haven't been able to do it but I'm working on it! I also tried a muscle up, but I'm still recovering from yesterday and couldn't do it. Oh well maybe next time! That was pretty much what I've done today. I'm gonna take it easy

My shoulder was bothering me today, so I took it easy. Even though it was the warmest day in a while. I went over to my school which is only a five minute walk from my house and messed around for a while. I seeing serious improvement since the last time I went, which was pretty much before winter. My flow'a gotten a lot better and I'm more comfortable on bars and rails. Precisions are way easier than they've ever been. Good day :)

Well my shoulder got a little worse, so I took a week off. And anyway I went Vermont last weekend for a school trip, so it was easy to forget about my shoulder. I've been stretching a lot, and I'm really proud of my progress. I can can touch my head to my knees with both legs straight. So i'm gonna try to do a workout today, I'll update you if I do! See you later

Hey guys! So it's been a while, my shoulder started acting up again. So a couple hundred hours of relaxing, here I am! I went to the open gym today with a camera. I did a sweet muscle up. I'll post the vid link at the bottom. The muscle up is at about 0:25, so check it out! I did some other stuff as well, and its not just me in the vid. My twin bro was there too. Great day today! In the whole day I did about 10-15 muscle ups. Can't wait for next week!

You'll never guess what happened to me! I got hurt again. Yeah I landed on my foot weird and i think I sprained my ankle. I've been completely resting it though. I haven't stopped training though. I've been going crazy on my arms! Since i cant walk on my feet too well, I just try to walk on my hands. And I climb around on my pull up bar just for fun. I've been doing a lot of handstand push ups as well. I really wanna learn to do a press to handstand, so I'm gonna slowly work up to it. Slowly and aggressively. My core needs a lot of work. So that's what I've been up too lately! Bye!

I'm back! my foot is all better, but im still taking it easy. Over the weekend I went to DC and checked out the spots. I had a great time! Ill post the link to the video we filmed while there. We went to a couple spots but none that were really famous. We are definitely going back soon! Do you guys know any good spots to just sorta jam? Anyways we left on saturday, and got there at about 4, so we decided to check out primal fitness. But it turns out that they closed at 3! So we sorta walked away, defeated... Oh and they don't open on sundays either.

We spent the rest of the day running around and finding some great spots. We remembered that there were two gyms in DC! So we found Urban Evolution. We checked it out on sunday, it was great! I took the beginner class just to get warmed up and get to know people. They were all great and the class was a lot of fun! I learned a lot about my rolls mostly. After the class I messed around with some techniques I've been dying to try. I learned a cat-to-cat! It was a great accomplishment for me, even though there's no where to do one around me. I also learned to kip-up. That's gonna be very useful where I live.

I learned a lot, and I'm gonna be sore for a while... So it was a great weekend!

Today was a great day. I took out my precision trainers and did a lot of work. My longest was 8 feet! I felt great. my ankle wasn't acting up either. So that was a huge bonus. I also did a ton of precisions from a squat. My best for that was about 7 ish feet. All in all I did maybe 100-200 precisions on the ground. Then I moved them over to a low wall I have. It separates the patio from the grass, so it was like 3 1/2 feet tall. I put one block about 3 feet from it and the other like 7. I jumped from the far to the close and then onto the wall. And went from the wall to the far again! And I cycled through that a lot.

I really didn't wanna do anything today, but then I remembered one of my precision blocks was cut weird. So I went downstairs and started cutting. I could have used a buzz saw... But where's the challenge in that? So I took out my dads old rusted saw and went at it. But that only exercise my right arm... So I cut the left too! And then just went ahead and did my workout. The reason I'm telling you this, is because sometimes the harder way is better. It also gives you some incentive to workout! So next time you see you want to use a buzz saw or anything else, try the harder way!

                  See you later
