What's up, my name's Konrad. I'll be a freshman Mechanical Engineering major this year at RIT! I've been looking into parkour recently after seeing ninja warrior on g4, and really wanting to do what they were doing. I've always enjoyed running around and jumping over things, so I'll give this a shot! I'm glad that there's some parkour people at RIT! C you guys in a couple weeks!

Hey! Glad to see you taking interest in Parkour. We've got some big things planned this year, so to stay informed you should also join the facebook group, Parkour - RIT Chapter.

Hope to see you around!

Hey Guys

Names Brad I live in Brooklyn right now but often travel back to Rochester and would love to meet up and train whenever I'm in town.  I've just started Training over the past two weeks but previously have been training in cycling, climbing, snowboarding and many other sports.

Hey,

I'm James and I'm based in Buffalo. I'm way out of shape from 3-4 years of sedentary life and have never done any kind of parkour, though I started doing heavy cycling back in spring and recently started doing Tae Kwon Do, which are rapidly getting me back into shape. Not sure I'll ever be lithe and agile enough for parkour, but I'm certainly interested in trying someday.

I'd like to come to a jam just to see what it's like sometime even if I can't really participate much, yet at least, but maybe in a few months I'll be able to come and jump along with you guys. Here's hoping!

Hey I'm Greg. I just recently got interested in parkour and would love to attend some of the jam sessions. I'm a 3rd year film/video major at RIT. I've been going off and on to the red barn for about a year now (about twice a week right now, hopefully more over winter), as well as go to the gym on a semi-regular basis in an attempt to get into better shape. Hopefully over winter I can kick things into higher gear as my schedule evens out and get more involved in parkour.

Hey greg!

Check out www.RochesterParkour.com for news updates. You're in luck though, we're holding a big event on Saturday, December 6th. A Leave-No-Trace cleanup day combined with a "Beginner's Parkour" workshop! It should be a lot of fun, and a great learning experience. Keep checking back here on APK, and on Rochester Parkour for updates.

Hi everyone!

My names Noy and I'm a cook at the Tokyo Japanese Steakhouse.  If you go there, don't ask for Noy cause I go by my middle name there which is Alex.  Confused?  Good!  Glad to finally find this forum as I've been fascinated by Parkour ever since seeing Yamikaze in my early teen years.  Plus I really need to get out more.  Kitchen life will turn you old.  Anyways, I'll be browsing the forums later since I'm stealing work wifi right now.  Any information and whatnots would be appreciated.

Cheers!
Noy

Hey, I'm a Westchester traceur; I know all the basic move such as vaults and wallruns and landing/rolls, but I got no where to train. Anyone know some good hotspots near Mt. Kisco/White Plains area?

Oh, I've been parkouring for about 2 years now, actually seriously for about 1.

Hey guys, I started conditioning for pk about two months ago, though I've been interested for a while longer. I'm from South Richmond Hill, Queens, but I can get anywhere in the city by train or bus. Starting my freshman year at CUNY Hunter this fall, so if anyone goes there, we should start a club! :P If anyone doesn't mind training with a newb, hit me up!

Hey I'm just learning and starting Parkour.  Is there anyone that would like to practice together or help me train?  I just started so I'm a newb  :-[ I'm free everyday up until school starts, which for me is September 8th, 2010.  Also, is there a parkour friendly gym/park where I can train?

Thanks for all the help ;D ;D

I'm Fred, gonna be in Jamaica Estates starting August 29th. I was there last year and didn't find too many spots, so I was looking to hit Manhattan. Anybody that has any spots in Queens or Manhattan, email me (wilfredo.duran08 at stjohns dot edu) Gracias

I just signed up! I am in Roslyn Heights, on Long Island, NY. I have been running through the parks here for a while and now and I want traceur status!! I just found this site and I have already learned a lot I didn't know.
