So I've been active to these forums for years now, but have rarely ever ventured outside of the Hawaii and movement sections of the forums.
Just recently I've decided that instead of just working out/training like a boss, I wanted to start eating right as well(that and a little bet that I have).
Problem is, I am totally ignorant.
I've literally spent the last 3 days lurking and taking notes on all the stickies and reading up on past threads in the Diet section to try and get a general idea. Previously I adopted Jujimufus(now non existent) little guide on eating correctly, and that was more of "heads up this is what I do" type thing without any actual guidelines.
So, a little about myself. I'm 5'9" and between 150-160lbs so I would guess that I'm just about the right weight for my height. Then again, I really have no clue.
I am very active, I lift weights nearly everyday, and I train Parkour/Freerunning,Soccer,Tricking,Muay Thai as often as I can. So I'm not some slouch looking to get active in life, I am and have been a very active kid[16]. I'm not really a unhealthy eater, I don't eat fast foods ever but I'm not exactly, strictly a healthy eater if you know what I mean.
I read up on that Paleo Diet and it seems very nice, but I am still very confused.
It stated that you should cut out bread/grains entirely. At first I was like "D: Wtf insanity?" then lurked a bit in the white/wheat bread thread and found it pretty logical. Heres the thing though, I still want to be able to eat things like Kimchee fried rice occasionaly.
So would it be ok if I ate things like that with moderation?
I also keep hearing about this 4:1 grain:protein PWO ratio and i'm kinda curious about that.
TL;DR
I''m looking for some people to point me towards some in depth articles, or enlighten me with knowledge of their own.

In advance, thanks.
