If you have seen the movie, there is a action scene at the very beginning where the section could have actually been mistaken for a short parkour chase, it was unbelievable!!

It was a short parkour scene. Done by none other than Sebastien Foucan.

I wouldn't say founder.  They shared rights to the name "Parkour."  Belle still developed it first, on his own, in Fecamp before the move to Lisses, where Foucan and the Yamakasi joined him (though the Belle family were all practicing, I believe, before the others like Foucan, Hnautra, etc. joined the picture).

Usually I dont bother with this stuff, but this has quite a few inaccuracies so Ill bite.

Both Belles father, and Yan Hnautras father learned and trained obstacle coursing in the military. As far as I know, chronologically, Yan started learning it from his father first, and at one point was training DB. DB had very little contact with his father, maybe a year total in his life. But when DB did train with his father, Seb was there too learning along side. They all continued to develop the decipline and the others (eventually becoming the Yamakazi) joined them. For a long time (10yrs) they trained together, played together in Lisses and Evry, and noone knew about them. Then finally the media got hold, and starting with the TV1 documentary that featured DB that we've seen online, in french, they began to go their separate ways. They developed the discipline in their own directions. DB kept Parkour and began considering himself the sole founder, because it's "in his blood" line. Seb went on to develop Freerunning, and Yamakazi - le art du deplacement.

Well, that was way off topic, but I hope it sheds some light on the history of the disciplines. And yes Im slowly working on a ig article/essay.
