Has anyone else seen tangled?
« on: December 04, 2010, 01:53:46 AM »
I noticed some scenes which seemed like parkour, but since I'm relitivly new to the sport I'm not sure if what I saw was parkour, or the results of parkour leeking into the media.

My girlfriend and I saw Tangled. There were a couple of scenes where I smiled, and she said "parkour!" Thy made me happy.

I noticed some scenes which seemed like parkour, but since I'm relitivly new to the sport I'm not sure if what I saw was parkour, or the results of parkour leeking into the media.

I think there was probably a little influence of parkour in the film, even if Flynn doesn't say it's parkour or anything like that.

Fun Fact: Disney also did Prince of Persia... So maybe they're becoming parkour friendly? :P
I stepped into a new world. I watched you fly, saw you as a friend, the spirit of dreams. I imagined a new world, lands far away and imagined those faces as you hung in their sky. I'm leaving ground, stepping into a new world.

their were vaults in it yes, but nothing parkour based. I mean like, nothing purposely parkour or free running.
