You need to eat, I can tell you that. But, then again, MMA calls for you to cut weight...
This post was based off of my personal gatherings. Enjoy:)

I wasn't implying to gain fat. Assuming you're in as good shape as you say, the muscle weight of a person with a 'good build' at your height, would cause them to weigh much more than you do. I'd recommend weight lifting and be a bit more heavier than you are. 140 is tiny for someone 5'10".

Edit: I'd point out that it's very easy for skinnier people to presume they have a good build, do to low fat percentages defining what little muscle they might have.

that was difficult to read.. try better formatting instead of a big blob of incorrectly spelled words...

so.. you want to be useful for parkour; do you want strength, cardio health, endurance abilities, weight gain? what do you want to accomplish specifically besides parkour abilities.

well. Strength is a great base that can influence endurance. There's an article on it on EMI.
It's just about impossible to optimally work both, so if you want average tendencies for each, go for it.

it would be optimal to pick one...

how's your running gait and biomechanics?

do you run with shoes and have a heel-to-toe strike?

i know this might make me sound like an idiot but wat do u mean by gait and biomechanics and yes i run with shoes but i stay on my toes wen i run so that my muscles take the impact not my joints and bones

like..your form basically. the tracking of your knees, hips ankles etc. try going completely barefoot on grass or a soft surface. see if that helps.. otherwise. do you get knee pain from other activities?
