Goose, there really isn't any more help that we can give you. We've (or at least I have) given you as many tips as we can, you're the only person that can make yourself actually commit to the movement and do it.

Ok I guess I'll just do it until i finally get it. Right now Im trying to get used to going backwards by holding on to a bar and putting my feet on it then spotting the floor and letting go. Hope this helps other people that have the same problem. Its helped me so far.

My rule of thumb (and the point that is brought up in Urban Current's backflip tutorial) is to look at the horizon, if you are outside of course. Inside, simply pick a spot on the wall that is about head-level.

Awesome thanks :)

Sure thing man, keep working on it. Feel free to ask any more questions that you have, but if it doesn't work immediately, give it some time, don't panic; sometimes the best thing to do is just take a break and come back to it. This is how I was with my backflips; I've always been able to do them on a trampoline, and my layouts (from height) have always been fine, but for the longest time, I just couldn't do a standing back tuck. I took about a 2 month break and worked on some other tricks, mostly just worked on control over basic vaults and movements, and then one night as I was lying in bed I started picturing the backflip, and the more I thought about it, the easier it seemed. At the end of that week, after consistently keeping those thoughts in my mind each day, I went to an open gym and got the form down in less that 30 minutes, and I've been doing them ever since :) it's all about determination.

Now that you've got it, practice it!  A lot of my friends have learned the back tuck, but then moved on to different tricks and lost it.  Keep persistent practice until you have a consistent back tuck.   :)
Tricking is beast, you should try it.
