There is no reason to have a plan B, cause all it does is distract from plan A

Just gonna give you guys an update.

The word I got from david(cofounder of wfpf) is that they are waiting on the shoes to get here and hopefully not held up in customs. He as well is concerned about how long this has taken.

I never had that problem but it is probably an issue with the browser. Google chrome works all the time for me

All sites are running fine. The shoes are on the way. It is the first time this has been attempted and it is a big thing to achieve, designing and making a shoe.

If everything works out, be sure to label it as a non-scam.

I should've pre-ordered these awhile back. Wonder how they'll live up to the hype.

The WFPF is/was in existence to scam people on shoes and then disappear....??? After everything the WFPF has done so far?  The MTV show (ultimate parkour challenge), co-sponsoring the Red Bull Art of Motion, etc.
....
The take the money and run idea seems really far-fetched for a group like the WFPF.

I've personally seen several pairs of the "backwards" KOs, in person.  It was a legitimate problem with the first order of shoes.  (Also, I had a chance to try on my size and they are WONDERFUL shoes!)  They are sending a free bag.  They are also sending a coupon for 15% (?) off your next pair of shoes.  Also, you have always had the option of cancelling your order and getting a full refund (you still have that option...).

They correct non-backwards shoes are done and are just being shipped at this point.  So, it shouldn't be long....  I really, really want my pair, as well.  And my current shoes are torn up (understatement of the century).

The dude who runs the WFPF website is a fellow freerunner and one of the nicest, coolest dudes in the parkour community.  He has been around a while and is well-respected.

It sucks that the shoes have been taking so long.  But, it also sucks for the WFPF dudes.  They want to get the shoes out as soon as possible.  It's in their best interest to start getting shoes out to people (obviously).  I'm more than a little frustrated with the delays.  But, what can you do?  They aren't a shoe company, they are a parkour organization.  And, they are new at the shoe thing.
I'm inclined to not be too upset because the guys from the WFPF are some of the nicest, most awesome guys I've ever met.  I know they have the parkour communities interests in mind.

Good words Jeremey. They are in the U.S and are waiting to go through customs.

I'm not sure what hype you mean around these shoes, they are not an amazing new design, not super climbing grip, not amazingly padded/spring loaded/jet powered.

They are the basic shoe that is needed to train parkour (where minimalist shoes or barefoot aren't enough). They are light, flexible and cheap, without the added arch support etc that running shoes add that actually make shoes worse.

I didn't really think the athletes were behind the shoes themselves.  I assumed they only were there to promote the shoe so when I suggested "taking the money and running" it was directed at whoever the "money man" is.  The shoes aren't anything special but they are cheap and if the guys from WFPF get a cut why not support the community.  Most people I know get inspiration from the guys in WFPF so when ordering the shoes it was a way to give back to them.  I have no problem waiting for the shoes. The KnowObsticles people did offer to refund the money I chose to wait it out.  My only gripe is the lack of communication to those that did order.  It's been awhile since we recieved the youtube video showing the shoes being made with a comment saying they are in the mail.  Maybe my choice of the word "Scam" was a little harsh but when they seemed to cut off all ways of contact...  the only thing to do is draw attention to the issue

I don't understand what this statement is supposed to mean....

Also, feel free to "friend" WFPF on Facebook (or, I guess, follow on Twitter - if you use it).  You can always send them a message on Facebook or YouTube.  Or contact through their site.  I'm guessing it may take a little while (they probably get a lot of messages and are always doing stuff), but the response you get will be from the same people you saw in that YouTube video (or the dude behind the camera) and will be genuine.
