There is no such thing as muscle confusion and there is no such thing as toning.

If you get any overweight person doing any kind of exercise and eating a diet they will lose weight

no, it's a scam through and through.

I wouldn't say its a scam through and through.

The only scammy part is where they make people believe that Tony Horton is a god for "inventing" the methods and the program when he clearly just ripped off of other good programs and called it his own.  Talking about muscle confusion and all of this nonsense just supports his claim on inventing these things.

A scam through and through would be if it didnt work at all, which is does, just not as effectively as a well put together personal program.  And that of course assumes that your goal is to just be active, maybe lose weight and "tone up" which is junk.

P90X's advertising emphasizes "muscle confusion", a method of cross-training and periodization achieved through switching the order of exercises and incorporating new and varied movements.[1]  According to Horton, muscle confusion prevents the body from adapting to exercises over time, resulting in continual improvement without plateaus.

I wouldn't even consider p90x to be exercise. Just wasting your time with strenuous activities that don't even have enough actual intensity to stimulate muscle growth.

Yeah, it's exercise if you consider jogging to be exercise.. but I don't.

I was doing P90X for a while. It helped a little bit with strength but what mainly happened was I shed off the extra fat percentage on my body. I went from 17.8 percent body fat to now being at 11.2. I didn't notice a huge change in anything but my core. (Although I did not stick to the entirety of the program. I couldn't get the stuff for their diet and it wasn't 90 days straight)
A dream is just a dream until it's achieved then it's a lifestyle.
