Minor injury to my left knee today, but probably enough to keep me from lower body training for a few days. Instead of being depressed I'm going to take this as an opportunity to work on upper body and core strength and come back twice as strong.

Injury details: Wasn't focusing and didn't get enough elevation on a routine kong. Was going pretty fast so the impact left a nice gash just above my left kneecap. This is the second time this has happened due to lack of focus but I will make sure it is the last.

First day after injury to left knee. At this rate I'll probably have full range of motion back in about 4 days. Feeling a little down but I've been in a similar, but worse, situation before so I know I'll be back to full capacity soon.

Lately I haven't been working as hard as a can at home so I've started a daily no excuses workout plan.

Other notes:
Need to attempt to break my dead hang pullup max.
Leg should be 100% healed some time this week so I'll be starting pistols again soon.

Can now execute the 13 foot wall climb with ease. I really need to find a 14 footer somewhere.
Still need to work on breaking some of my maxs. I guess my training has been more focused on technique lately...need to get back to strength training soon, especially now that my leg is getting close to 100%.

I have been continuing with technique training these past few days. I landed a precision that I'm convinced was a little over 10 feet, but it was on a slight decline so I guess I can't put that as my max broad jump. It was however the biggest precision I've landed so far. All the repetitions on the smaller gaps are really starting to pay off.

Other notes:
Slight discomfort in my left wrist. Should be fine by tomorrow morning but we'll see how it goes. Hopefully it's back to 100% by Sunday...was hoping to do some serious technique training.
Next progression video should be out in about 2 weeks.
Power, balance, freedom.

It has been raining nonstop for at least a week which has prevented me from going out as much as I'd like to. I took this as an opportunity to really rest my body and get back to full capacity. Hopefully it stops raining soon but for now I'll just stick to light indoor conditioning.

5 hours of outdoor technique training today.

Notable achievements:
Dive-konged a pretty nice gap (and got over the general fear of dive-konging gaps)
Kong-precisioned something I previously thought was not possible.
Noticed a huge increase in creativity/body control, since I was finding new opportunities for certain movements (and managing to complete the movements) that I didn't see before.
Got lots of new clips for my next progression video which should be released in about a week.
Power, balance, freedom.

After a good 5 hours of technique training, I came home and put this video together, marking my 6th month of training. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GrzQZUBoeqQ I'm really proud of how far I've progressed so far, and can't wait to see what I can do in the future.

Few things to note:
I can finally perform a decent muscle up, so I will be adding that to the list in the near future.
My primary focus this month will be learning how to stride properly. It's a very efficient movement that I have been neglecting for a long time. I said I was going to do it before but never got around to it, but this time it will be the first thing I do every training session.
With learning the stride comes the need to increase leg strength, so I will also be putting emphasis on that during my conditioning sessions.
Power, balance, freedom.
