positive: was training on campus (i train with a few of the campus security guys so i don't get bugged much) and a couple track guys saw me doing vaults and ended up joining me for training that day and several more training sessions afterwords. woot new recruits.

negative: i was doing a cat balance across a reasonably stable chunk of fence. (just enough wobble to up the challenge a little) and this dude who was probably a sophomore or so came up and said "hey ***hole get offa there you're not sposed to be there" my initial response was cheeky, something like "not your fence chill." he shouted some more obscenities at me so i decided to do it peacefully "fine just wait for me to get to the end i'll get down that way it's easier." but the jerk decides that's not fast enough and shakes the darn fence as hard as he can. i managed to hang on enough to swing down pretty safely. and when i hit the ground and roll to my feet the coward just ran away lol.

Positive - I have been applauded before by elderly people

Negative -  I knocked one man's son down like a bowling pin.

positive- i was warming up with some quad movement drills alone in a park and then a group of about 6 guys and girls my age came. At first i heard them laughing or something but then one of them came up and asked me what i was doing so i told them and showed them and they thought it was cool and later we all did this easy parkour drill

negative- i was training on this handicap rail by a railroad stop, 10 minutes later a cop shows up and escorts me away past all the families and people waiting for the train.......

yeah i didn't use that fence again that day, but i kept on training. although i must admit it sounded like a great drill to run him down for a few minutes.

Back when my friends and I first began parkour, we went to this large park not too far and practiced the fundamental vaults and movements. One time there were these three boys (the oldest being in 6th grade) who were "freerunning". They watched us and after a while approached us. They were nice, but naive. They watched and watched and then after we did palm spins on they table they started yelling, "You guys are the master freerunners! You guys are the masters!!"
