Indian Ledge Park - Trumbull - August 29, 2010
Shyam Subramanian:
So a few of us were discussing a jam in this thread: http://www.americanparkour.com/smf/index.php/topic,29004.0.html
I was exploring and found some land with a pretty long creek with loads of rocks, a cliff ranging from 30 feet in height to about 10, some mini islands (10ftx10ft?), and a small wooden bridge.
Sounds promising I guess, but I haven't found any time to train there yet.
EDIT: That spot is extremely close to a pretty big wooden playground with railings, small wooden balance beams, a small sand pit, a few picnic tables, some big trees, soft grass, and a tiny water park with 4 or 5 fountains to cool off in if we get hot. I have trained there and it's pretty awesome, thousands of oppurtunities. It's got loads of different playthings that I haven't seen in any other playground.
As of right now we will be meeting at the playground in Indian Ledge Park in Trumbull at 3:00 PM on Sunday the 29th. Here are the directions, just ignore the part that says "High school parking" on the second page. The directions can be a bit confusing so feel free to ask questions. The park is on Whitney Ave.

Oh and if your coming, maybe bring swimming trunks or a change of clothes, the fountains are pretty great and so tantalizing when you've been training for a long time haha.
I know it's short notice but it'd be cool if we could have one jam before the summers over.
EDIT: The formal address is 307 Indian Ledge Park Drive, if you have trouble finding it call my cell: 203-908-5854. Call don't text, I don't have texting :P
Kendy:
Ooooo
I was supposed to train at my highschool with a few new guys, but this sounds too tantalizing to pass up!
I'll see if they can come too!
Of course I'll have to ask the 'rental units, and I warn you all to stay away from any roads, for I may be driving there ^v^
BUT for those people there, please don't let kendall over exert herself; it's supposed to be hot and humid and she is jsut getting over being sick =(
Sounds great though!
Jacob Chess:
Unfortunately, I was sparring with one of my friends and my lens fell out, I then accidently stepped on it, splitting it in two pieces.
This normally wouldn't be a probably, however, my glasses are specially made because of the perscription. So, I have to pass this up. I can't really push my luck this time. Sorry, it sounds like an amazing spot. Have fun, be safe, and train hard.
Josh S:
Sounds great! I will be there.
andrew:
I'd love to go...
but my leg's still gonna be in a cast and parental units disagree :'(
btw, if kendall goes... good luck :P
