parkour hotspots in Indiana
« on: July 20, 2010, 08:54:25 AM »
Hey i would like to start a thread where people can post their spots they train at in Indiana because i know that where i live in Indiana it is hard to find spots.  Help out other people in Indiana and post your spots. Post the address or area of your training spot and pictures if you have any. Thanks

I live in Bloomington, and IU's whole campus is pretty amazing. Also, when I went to Indy the part with the canal (I for get what it's called) looked pretty cool even though I didn't get a chance to train. It's the one by the museum, zoo, victory field, etc. I also heard Purdue is pretty sweet.

Around IUPUI in Indianapolis is pretty good. ^ Including the area around the museum by it.

OK OK Jeff...  Ive got an Idea and its already started I just have to find what I have of it... BUT Google maps indiana hotspot map.  When I get time I will find my account and post the link.  I will also try and find out if anyone can add spots to the map or it's just me.  If its just me I will make a new topic with instructions on how to get new spots added to the Indiana Map.

Hope this is kinda like what you were thinking about... Also I will look around and see how some of the other states are doing this on the forum.   And try and get a thread going.

:-SarcasmOk so the photos of the spot are dead now... and I still need to see who all can add to it but its a start sorry its so late in coming.  I started this last year and was unable to get Indiana interested looks like there might be renewed interest! :-Sarcasm

Just found out only I and collaborators can so I will be making a new Topic on the Regions thread with information on how to add your hot spots to the map... at which point I am likely to lock this topic if thats ok with you Jeff.  I don't mean to steal your thunder or anything.  Just pick up where I left off and take your idea a step farther. Much thanks!!

On the Hotspots for the Forum I have an Idea but I need more mod powers or get someone to do it for me I will talk to someone and get it figured out.

Okay so I freerun around the downtown area of Indianapolis a lot and I have to say the canal has a couple of good spots and there are a few places in front of some buildings that are pretty legit as well. IU has good spots to and IUPUI has some good stuff too.
