here is how it works: the zombie apocalypse has come, you must tell us how you are equiped.
you must include

Head gear:

Torso:

Legs:

Shoes:

hands: (not required)

main weapon:

side weapon:

melee weapon:

form of transportation:

sidekick:

extra stuff:

area you will be in:

edit, new format, will be long, but less messy

lets give it a try... pics if you have them of said supplies..

Clothing
Head - Grey beanie: http://www.unionwear.com/imgPDthm/grey%20beanie.jpg
Torso - Black T-shirt: http://www.vanmildert.com/mens-1/t-shirts-88/hugo-boss-orange-mens-143787-1288_zoom.jpg
Hands - Black Convertible Gloves: http://www.gloves-online.com/prodimages/GO/KHF-36125.JPG
Legs - APK Combat Pants: http://zprepared.com/zblog/wp-content/uploads/2010/02/APK_combat_trainers.jpg
Feet - Running Shoes: http://raincrystal.files.wordpress.com/2009/04/trail_running_shoes_review4.jpg

Notes: Fitting clothing is good. It allows freedom of movement and less places to be grabbed by a zombie. They are grey or black because it lessens visibility.

Weapons
Main - U.S. M1 Garand: http://www.neaca.com/images/Garand_Springfield_14623xx_.JPG
Side - Mossberg Maverick 88: http://www.e-gun.net/guns/20805-1.jpg
Melee - Crowbar: http://willsworkbench.files.wordpress.com/2009/07/crowbar1.jpg

Notes: Of course my main weapon would be a semi-automatic rifle. For the side arm being a Shotgun; I know, it should be a hand gun or something small, but in terms of defense and offense, I find that I am better off with a shotgun.
The melee weapon is a given, utility is the key; the crowbar delivers.

Inventory
Backpack:
Two pairs of socks
Wide-mouthed, quart-sized water bottle
Water-purification tablets
Wind- and waterproof matches
Bandanna
Map
Compass
Small flashlight (AAA hattev) with coated lens
Poncho
Small signaling mirror
Bedroll
Sunglasses (polarized lenses)
Palm-sized first-aid kit
Swiss Army knife or multi-tool
Hand-held radio with earpiece
Knife
Binoculars
Fifty rounds
Cleaning kit
Twenty-five rounds
Signal flares

Notes: Seems like a lot, but the items are really compact and low-weight.

Transportation: Mountain bike

Note: Travel quickly, swiftly, quietly. It would be better to get one of those 'folding' bikes.

Sidekick(s): Group of 12

Note: I'm never leaving my friends and family; EVER!

I've read the Zombie survival guide too many times. I memorized most of it. I have a PDF of the book if you want it.

Can we keep this so we only have stuff that we HAVE/are attainable to us at the moment? I think some person with a .50BMG rifle and Dual Deagles just seems like a total 'tard. (No offense to Tom's Deagle. Ammo is hard as shit to find in .50æ! ;) )

I can get all/most of my stuff within 2 months. How about you all? ;)

Head gear: Bandanna to keep hair out of my eyes.

Torso:
---SKS Chest Grenade/mag harness
---Underneath, Lightweight BDU's (Flecktarn woodland camouflage)

Legs: Light weight knee pads

Shoes: Vibram KSO, Feiyues, or Nike Frees.

hands: Fingerless gloves.

main weapon:
---.22 Marlin Bolt-action, magazine fed, high capacity
------Mil-dot Leupold scoped w/ 5x65mm stats
------Sling

OR

---.30 M1 Carbine (w/ bayonet lug and flash suppressor), semi-auto, high cap mag (30rds)
------Mil-Dot Leupold scoped w/ 10x65mm stats
------sling
------M2 or M3 Bayonet
------Paratrooper stock

side weapon:
---.22 Ruger, high cap mag.
------Tritium sights.

OR

---Springfield M6 Commercial (not USAF) Survival Rifle in .410/.22
---Mil-Dot 5x65mm Leupold scope

melee weapon:
---KA-BAR Kukri

form of transportation:
---Bicycle (and tools to fix it/take care of it)
---On foot, mainly.

sidekick:
---Not very many friends (or any that I trust with a .22 ;D ,)  So no one except my family. Maybe Tex, I hope he's a good shooter... :P

extra stuff:
---Camouflage netting
---Ghillie suit
---About 150lbs of .22 ammo :D and lots of .410 shells. All my ammo, (except for the carbine,) uses .22 or .410.
---Plenty of food, freeze dried, and canned. Lots of canned.
---Water purification methods. (Carbon, iodine, chlorine, etc,)
---Everything Jake said... im forgetting more stuff... :P
---Silencers for all weapons. They should ALL be pre-threaded and ready to go.

area you will be in:
---Creek retreat approximately 1.5miles from my home. Has a small amount of deer, and I train there often. It's on top of a plateau, very easy to protect. I could set a shelter until I could make a log "house."

PICTURES!

M7 USAF Survival Rifle (Stainless)

.22 Ruger w/ Trituum Sights

KA-BAR Kukri

.30 M1A1 Carbine with Paratrooper stock

Flecktarn Woodland camouflage BDU's

Scoped .22 Marlin (Mag fed!!! :D )

Even though I am totally against guns, I'm a good shot(Reminds me of the dad from 'To Kill a Mockingbird') I've done shooting in Boyscouts and boyscout camp. I'm not proud of it, but I'm one who likes to be versed in different skills, whether I think they are necessary or not.

I actually have most of the stuff listed. I can get the rest easily online(though I probably won't), though I will never ever buy a gun.

im pro guns, but that is me... i love to kill a mockingbird, one of my favorite books.i don't like being versed in skills. never really been a competitive person unless im pissed, which is a horrible time to compete.

I love guns, but not all that much for killing. Hunting, if necessary, be it human or any other animal.  I love target shooting though! :D I think everyone should target shoot.

Edit: To Kill a Mocking Bird is a GREAT book! :D

I know, I respect your opinion, you are a person that I can respect because you have some legitimate reasons for such. I'm not really competitive rather than a 'Jack-of-all-trades'. Better to have it and not need it; than need it and not have it.
