my diet starts, a few pointers?
« on: June 29, 2010, 08:17:02 PM »
ok so my diet is going to consist of fish, chicken, veggies, and fruit. Im going to cut out white bread but would it be ok to use whole grain every once in a while? as for drinks, water water water, but is gatorade and stuff ok?  and what would be the ideal dinner time? i usually just eat my dinner whenever but with my new workout regimine I would like to have a set dinner time.

Plants (vegetables, fruits, seeds and herbs) and animals (meat, fish, fowl, and eggs) should represent the entire composition of your diet.

Good oils are fine -- coconut, olive, fish oil, etc.  Bad oils (seed or industrial are not).

Dairy is fine if you're tolerant as well. Any dairy you eat should be FULL FAT though. Much healthier.

Steven.. care to expand on FULL FAT is healthier? i would believe you. But to the common person. More fat would seem less likely to be healthier.

Some confounding factors in each but yeah... in general whole fat is healthy.
