training partner was nearby (thank god) but not involved in jump

Yes

Yes, the cut was deep so tested for chipped bone, and bone is fine

My parents have banned me from doing parkour :'( :'( :'( :'(

Accidents can happen anywhere, even when you are just walking down the street. At least your injury wasn't as bad as it could have been.

Do you happen to know exactly why your parents have banned you from doing parkour? If it is just because of the injury, then that isn't really grounds for banning. You could always say that you are more liable to get hurt in a car ride down the street than while doing parkour.

yeah, i'm going to talk to them when i am healed, and explain everything parkour has given me. hopefully i wont have to sneak around to train
