Spot Classes
« on: October 13, 2006, 05:13:57 PM »
I'm kinda excited to start tomorrow, but i'm also a little afraid.  Afraid because I don't have gloves, for one, nor good shoes.  I have Nikes I've been wearing for nearly two years, and they're ripping apart now.  They have no grip or anything.  I have some hiking shoes, but they're not broken in, and i'm not sure they'll work for what I need.  They have support and grip, that's for sure, but i'm not sure about shock absorbsion.

But other than that, I can't wait to start training to be a Traceur!   ;D

Don't worry and don't bring gloves (unless you have eczema) it will be better to just start making calouses right away.  Shoes probably aren't too important for the spot classes since a lot of it is indoor, but you should definitely invest in getting some new shoes.

Yeah, I amused my mom by making my shoes speak for themselves.  The part just over the toes have come off to the point where I can lift my toes out of the shoe completely.  She'll probably get my dad to get me new shoes, some Asics hopefully.

But that's good to hear, actually.
