Prepping for winter
« on: October 03, 2006, 10:27:14 AM »
Ok, i live in Ft.collins and alot of times the snow takes a while to melt >.>... and jumping on slick surfaces isnt my cup o tea, cause alot of times im not so light on my feet. So when its snowing outside, or there is still enough snow to prevent from jumping, what do you suggest i do to maintain training? last winter my training was very rare because of the snow, is this year i wanna try and do it as much as possible

Scout out some indoor spots such as parking garages.

Focus on physical training such as bodyweight exercises, gymnastics progressions, ring training, etc.

Go to open gyms at a gymnastics gym.

Go to parkour class at The Spot. ;)

Build some indoor training tools to practice precision jumps, vaults, etc.
