looking to train near DU
« on: September 30, 2006, 11:35:57 AM »
Hey, I'm completely new and I am looking for somebody to start training w/ near the DU area.  Also, I'm looking for somebody to take me and friend down to the Spot gym to check that out on a reg basis.

Hey Firey!!

Sorry, can't help on the ride/train situation as I'm up in the Boulder area....you should be able to catch a bus from downtown Denver to Boulder though and its a quick bike to the spot from there.

I'm super new myself and the Spot classes are an excellent way to train safely and learn a lot more about Parkour. (As well as meet some great folks!)

Hope to see you there!!

You have any idea how long and how complicated it is to get the bus from DU to Boulder?  I commuted from Erie (outside boulder) last year to DU and looked into the RTD, its really really freaking inconvenient.  sigh, oh well, I'm going to be super busy here soon, so it can wait for a tiny bit, I guess...

If you have a bike, it's really easily to commute to boulder.  Just ride down to the market street bus station (on 16th street mall) and then it's one bus (the B) up to boulder.  Put your bike on the bike and when you're there you can ride wherever you want.

sure, I'll take the ride anyday!! Its actually me and my friend that want to do this, so if thats cool, we're cool.  Also, we'll make sure you get compensated for gas.  Either email me @ fireyducttape@gmail.com or leave details here.  Obviously not this (10/7) sat, but maybe next week we could get a ride?  As for the bike, no luck, my bike's at home
