Other exercise / fitness experience: None
Location where injury occurred: Ankle
Conditions of location (wet, dark, icy, etc): Matted Gym
What you were doing / trying to do when injury occurred? : I was jumping over a small box when it slipped. I fell forward, and landed on the outside of my foot. With a popping noise, it bent inwards and I fell to the ground.
Where any other people involved? : Involved in the injury, no. Helped out to make the pain vanish, several
Part of body  - description of injury, rating of severity 1-10. : Ankle, 7 now, it hurts pretty bad :P
Did you see a doctor for diagnosis?: I can't walk right now, so I plan on it
Did you get X-rays or MRI's?: See previous

Yeah, get that checked.

With a pop it's usually tearing of the ankle ligaments. Not the end of the world (as you can do well without them), but obviously not good either.

I've gone all day today without it really hurting. I wrapped a heavy duty bandage over it to keep it in place. I can put minor amounts of pressure on it, and walk slowly with a bit of a limp. Right now its only a bit swollen, but that seems to be going down.

The severity of pain right now is 1-3. When im sitting or stretching it, its not bad at all. Its a little higher when I walk slowly.

get it checked. any type of injury can grow to immense proportions...
