Okay, so I can't go to open gym this week (my dad thinks it'll be too much stress on him in the morning (don't ask, I have no idea)), but I should be able to go next week providing I behave >.>
I'll try my hardest ^.^

Lol, don't be so sad faced, you'll still have a newcomer there so smile ^.^
I'll try my hardest to get there next week, and maybe bring some friends too!  And we should try to find some other time to meet up to train and such.  There any good spots near you in Trumbull?

i probably can't come next week, my dad thinks its a waste of money to go every week.  So maybe in 2-3 weeks I'll be there.  And..not really, but there's this kickass school near me.  Random walls all over the place.

Alright, then let me know when you're going to head to open gym again; Driver's Ed on Wednesday's ends at 8.30, so if you're gonna hold off on Open Gym, I'll be at driving school.  The sooner I get my licence, the easier it'll be to get places.  I just did the schedule out - I should be able to get my licence before the end of June if I go almost every day.

Indeed, Shay. It was the most fun I had in a while. Though, I definitely can improve and I hope to as well.

You got some nice skills as well! Just post here when you get the chance to head to the Y again.
Good training.

Hey Shyamsundar Subramanian,

I'm not amazing at parkour and freerunning yet, but if I can get a ride to that YMCA gym (I'm only 14), would you be willing to help me improve my skills? get back to me when you can.

MisterJay. It really only matters if you are devoted and passionate about improving. As I see it, you do.
We are all here to help those who ask for it.

Hey Jay,

Of course I would.  I don't know exactly when I'm going next, but I'll be sure to tell you.  I'm only 15 also!  And where do you live, maybe we could train outside too!

Oh, and call me Shay ;D

Thanks Shay! I live in Coventry, CT, and sadly the only slightly good place to practice here is the high school/ middle school (they're connected). Like I said, I am not amazing at it yet, but I am really and completely dedicated to learning parkour. I am also glad that you aren't too much older than me like I thought you would be. Sooooo, yeah. Just let me know next time you will be available and I will make sure I am there.

Hey all! Sorry I haven't checked the Jams thread in a bit. A Connecticut wide summer jam is a must. I'm in contact with a couple of other people right now and I hope to contact as many people as I can to organize several jams this summer. I would certainly love to have a Gym session in Trumbull and I'm hoping to train with some other people in Stamford. I think its very important to start establishing a set date so that we can get something like this underway. We also need a set location. I know a lot of people say New Haven is great for training but I would also be willing to host a jam in Mystic.

So why not pick a month first. Does June sound good?

For now, my schedule is open, but I might be getting a job. Depends really, but as I said, I'm open for anytime.
