Perry Hall?
« on: May 09, 2010, 11:07:58 AM »
I've been searching around the boards for some traceurs that live around Perry Hall or some sort of jams. I am brand new to Parkour (in fact I've not even really done anything) and I'm absolutely clueless on how to start. I was wondering if anyone knew anywhere I could meet up with some traceurs and learn/ if there were any  near by.

Thank you!

If you don't mind driving up to harford county there's a few of us who train on sundays at harford community college from 1-3 or so. are there any good spots near you?

Honestly, I'm not sure. I've heard Perry Hall Middle and High are good for it but I am not experienced enough to see places yet. What time do you guys usually practice?

Alright, well thank you! I'm trying to find people who do it more regularly than once a week though. I would prefer practicing in a group then alone until I get the gist of what i should practice and what I can look for to practice on.

Hey man, glad to see that you'd like to get started.
Your best bet would be our group up at Harford Community College.  We're very beginner friendly even though some of us have been training for years.
As for other locations, I know of a few traceurs in the Towson area that are very skilled, and further down south I've trained with the Anne Arundel Community College crew, and from what I hear they train twice a week now.
Try checking the mid-atlantic board, it gets a little more traffic as it covers the DC/Virginia hotspots as well, if you don't mind the commute that is.

But I hope to see you at a HCC training session, we'd love to have you!

Agreed - training by yourself can be tough - it's easier when you can bounce ideas off of people. It would be great to have you come up, and look around for some spots near you!

Hey,

I'm Meekins, this is my first post on here. Anyways me and my little "group" walk around Perry Hall alot and we have a few spots we train at now. We all know the area really well since we live around the center of it. We all live really close to PHHS and White Marsh Mall. If you don't mind walking Around I'm sure you could come train with us. We are all beginners. I've been doing parkour for about a year but I havnt really focused in on it like I am now. So just message me your number ad your name and well work something out.

Hey Guys! I live in Essex. I have a car, and most weekends I go with my family to our "Getaway Place" in West Virginia. However, I am sure that they would let me stay home. Just tell me when.

We're working on getting some people together in Towson, that's not too far from Perry Hall. We're on this thread http://www.americanparkour.com/smf/index.php/topic,26678.0.html
