AGREED. After the wrestling season, after eating ridiculously healthy and not very much fried food kills me. I won't even try McDonald's after that. My first meal with my dad's fried chicken gave me heart burn :(.

I would like to point out one misconception, though. You will see a lot of people say things like this, and of course, they are true. However, what they end up implying is that it's because they ate junk food after eating healthy, and THAT is what caused the upset stomach/whatever. Your body will have the exact same reaction when you switch from eating junk food all the time, to suddenly eating healty. You are changing away from what you body is used to, and that, just like abruptly changing a dogs brand of dogfood, will give you digestive "issues".

You will even have them if you go from one form of healthy diet, to a different one. Both still healthy, but not what you are used to.

I know. It didn't help that I wasn't eating enough, either.

OMG! I got quoted in someone's sig!

/tearsofjoy

Thank you Shay.

If oreo withdrawl is like giving up smoking, the first couple of days won't be so bad. The 2 weeks after that will be HELL, then it will get slightly better, and stay at that level for the rest of your life. ;D

You will always crave the oreos.

He's kidding.  Smoking is, from what I've heard, one of the hardest things to quit (mostly because it contains a highly addictive chemical), but eating oreos isn't very comparable to that.  As you build self-control and restraint it will become easier to hold off on indulging yourself.

I was kidding about oreos being like that, yes.

Smoking, no, quitting that really sucks. People who have quit for many years, can start back up in a heartbeat.

I know, I used to smoke a pipe. I quit like 4 years ago. I still get cravings, and I know I always will, FOR THE REST OF MY LIFE. They arn't constant, or even enough to be annoying, but they happen. I could start smoking again at any time. The only thing preventing me is willpower.

If you don't smoke, DON'T START!!!!!!!! I don't care how cool you think it might be, or your friends think it might be... it's NOT COOL AT ALL. It will be something you WILL REGRET later on in life.

When I moved into the house I am in, the walls were tan. I found out while doing some construction, that they USED to be white, but the previous owners smoked. If it stained the walls that much, what do you think it did to their lungs?

If you do smoke, QUIT NOW! Do what ever you can. The longer you smoke, the harder it is to quit. Get help, it is better to have a group to lean on to help you with it.

I used to eat a lot of junk (in between wrestling seasons). What helped me was drinking water. If I was full, I wouldn't want to snack on junk. So I always kept a bottle or glass with me. Chewing gum helped too.

Yea, I always found drinking something to help curb my appetite.

Of course, not having junk food in the house helps, too. ;D
