Done a bunch of logs before this, but none of them actually stayed for more than a week.  This one's better though, it's staying I promise :D

Gonna start tomorrow!

Alright guys, starting now!

Age: 15
Height: 5'6"
Weight: 108 pounds
BMI: 17.4 (http://www.nhlbisupport.com/bmi/)
Athletic Experience: Absolutely nothing formal, but from kindergarden to 8th grade I probably played backyard sports outside about 2 hours every evening.  Then in 9th grade I biked for about an hour every evening, and now I just run/do parkour for maybe 5-6 hours a week.  I've always been active in monkeying around, I used to be the master of tree climbing in my childhood.  My mother calls me a monkey.
Parkour Experience: Started November 8th, I've learned the roll, the basic vaults, some other stuff, and some improvised movements that don't really have a name.  I've been working on flow a lot more lately.

Goals:

Frontflip UPDATE: Front flip landed standing
Sideflip
Backflip
10 second L-sit UPDATE: 20 second L-Sit
20 second Tuck Planche
10 pullups
8' broad jump
12' wall climb
3 second Flag
20 second freestanding handstand
1 freestanding handstand pushup UPDATE: 3 freestanding handstand pushups

That should be enough for now :).

Wednesday, May 6th

Woke up and did 2x20 pushups, great way to start the day :).  Then I did 5 pullups on the bar top of the sliding door to my shower stall on the way out.  Then at school I had floor hockey at gym.  It was awesome, my friends and I tried to play by pretending all the tan colored wood was lava and we could only step on the colored lines.  Great coordination training.

At home, I came home and immediately went to the school next to my house for some parkour training.  It was a great day.  I conquered my fear of high(er) monkey vaults, got one at the top of where my six-pack would be and repeated it for about 30 seconds.  Then I got some nature precisions in, prob about 7'.  Also got my highest crane so far, about neck height.  Then I got a 12 second handstand.  Like I said a great day...

...except for the fact that when I came home I remembered about pullups and dips, I had forgotten to do them at the school! Crappp.  Then I was planning on making a planche progress video but then my dad had taken the camera out somewhere :(.  I practiced some Tuck planches again and some L-sits anyway then did 2x25 pushups, 2x15 close grip pushups and then 3x15 tuck jumps.  Then I went upstairs and did 3x5 pullups on the bathroom bar.

Nutrition:

Breakfast- 1 egg omelet and 1 glass of V8 juice
Lunch- three slice peanut butter sandwich, strawberry kiwi juice, a tangerine, 1 nutrigrain, and Sunchips
Dinner- pasta

That will be all.

Thursday, May 6th

Woke up and did 1x15 PPPUs, I think from now on every day is going to start like this.  At school I had an epic fail at floor hockey where I passed it accidentally to my opponent and he shot it in.  It was embarrassing.  Then after school while waiting for my mom to pick me up, there's this huge rock outside my school (like 40x40 feet, it's a frickin boulder) that I'll try to get a picture of.  I just did handstands on top of the rock and ten trained precisions and running precisions for like 20 minutes.

At home, I got here then did 3x15 PPPUs, 3x15 close grip pushups, and 1x3 handstand pushups against the wall.  Fun stuff.  Then I want to the park and it was seriously a great frickin day.  Did those high(ish) monkey vaults I got yesterday and then did lazy vaults at nipple height!  Yeeeah!  lol.  Anyway, then I did a cool kash over this maybe 4-5 foot diameter table thats about belly button height and repeated it until I couldn't fail and also got my split foot takeoff down.

Then I did my first sit-turn!! Yeaaah!  I've been trying it for a week and I finally got it really fluid, I'll try to get a video up.  I'm sooo happy.

After that I remembered to do my pullups and dips and did 3x5 pullups and 3x10 dips.

Nutrition:

Breakfast- one shitty bowl of fruit loops with milk
Lunch- a gigantic plate of pasta, strawberry milk, and a long stick of bread (no homo)
Snack- veggie burger w/ whole wheat bread and V8 juice
Dinner- Rice and potatoes

I usually have Indian food for dinner so I'll try to condense it into American terms lol.

Friday, May 7th

Ok so I woke up 4 minutes before I had to leave for school so I shoved in some breakfast and left.  No pushups :(.  At school I had some pretty nice defensive plays in floor hockey, and I did some handstands in the hallway in Global Insights (like Honors Social Studies).  I do this a lot really, just get a pass to the bathroom and practice handstands.  Really fun ;D.

When I got home I watched some nice videos on APK which got me pretty inspired.  Then I went to tennis class which is every Friday and kicked ass, I was on fire ;D.  After that I got my mom to drop me off at DFS (the name of the school) to train.

It was...such...a great day.  I did so much stuff it's hard to say!  I'll try to list it all, first the workout.  I did 3x5 pullups, 3x10 dips, and 3x5 box jumps at ~3ft.  All this felt so effortless, it was like I was...a real traceur lol ;D!  Then I tried to make my sit-turns more fluid and it worked really well, I got them on rails on different heights now.  Then the table I did a kash over yesterday, I finally konged it.  Now this has been my dream since I started parkour, to kong that table.  I remember the first day I trained and I said, "Maybe one day...I will kong this."  And I finally did it.  I am soooo happy ;D :D ;D :D ;D!  The table's ~belly button height and ~4-5 feet across.

Then the high monkey vaults I've been doing, I've been doing them on a handicap rail so I kept adding a larger and larger drop until there was a distance of maybe 7 ft between the top of the rail and the asphalt (I didn't go higher I know my limits ;)) and rolled when I hit the floor, it was so fluid.  Then I went to another handicap rail that's about **** height (LOL) and it has ~3-4 ft between that to the concrete wall that's on the other side.  The wall's about 3 inches higher than the rail.  I KONG TO CRANED THAT *****.  And for one split second, it felt like I was flying :).

I also got some great balance drills done, I walked barefoot across a rail for about 20 feet at normal walking speed.  It was beautiful.

And this all happened in 1-1/2 hours :D.

Nutrition:

Breakfast- Eggo waffles (shitty I know)
Lunch- three slice peanut butter sandwich, strawberry kiwi juice box, 2 nutrigrains, and a tangerine
Snack- Indian food, I don't know quite how to explain it.  But it had potatoes :D.
Dinner- rice

OH AND I ALMOST FORGOT!  MY FRIEND GAVE ME $20 BUCKS TO STALL THE CLASS SO HE DIDN'T HAVE TO PRESENT HIS PROJECT TODAY!  WHICH MEANS...I HAVE $90!  WHICH IS ENOUGH FOR DAESCANTS FROM MOUNTAINGEAR.COM! W000000000000000000000000000000000000T!

Saturday, May 8th

Woke up and did 20 crunches today, and then helped my dad lift this gigantic sofa halfway through the house.  The exercise felt pretty awesome ;D.  Then it was straight to studying at around 9:00.  Yeah, studying on a Saturday.  And ALL DAY LONG.  I stopped at 8:00.  Why?  Because my AP Biology test is on Monday and I'm so utterly screwed, probably because I spent all of Biology doodling parkour pictures.  It was worth it though :).

However, while I was working I took breaks to do some conditioning.  Here's what I did: 1x3 HSPUs, 3x15 PPPUs, 1x20 close grip pushups, 2x15 tuck jumps, and loooads of L-sits, Tuck planches and handstands.  They were all pretty good too, not a record breaking time but I got a consistent medium time for all of them.

Bahh, I'm probably gonna have to spend all of tomorrow studying too :'(.

Nutrition:

Breakfast- 2 eggs (only one yolk), milk
Lunch- rice and yogurt
Snacks- nutrigrain, oreos, and a bunch of other crap
Dinner- rice and yogurt

My mom's been working all day cooking for for my dad's new boss who's visiting with his family tomorrow, so I've not had too much variation in food.

I hate AP.

Sunday, May 9th

Handstands, handstands, and more handstands.  And A frickin P studying.

Nutrition:

Breakfast- apple jacks
Lunch- went to a party, loooads of fat foods
Dinner- rice

Monday, May 10th

I finished my AP Test :D!  I don't know how well I did, but NO MORE STUDYING!

I'll update this later, I don't know what I'm doing yet LOL.

Ok so the exam took up all the time from 6:30-12:00, but I had this really funny bail at school where I tried to vault a rail and my feet clipped causing me to headplant on the floor...6 feet on the other side.  I could've been seriously hurt if: I didn't know how to do a parkour roll, and if it wasn't grass.

Anyway...I chilled from 12-4, ate lunch, surfed the InterWeb, and then went to train.  I don't know if God was trying to tell me anything haha, but I had 3 more bails training that COULD'VE put me in the hospital but didn't, one of which could've ruined my manhood :o.  I don't know, I just wasn't in it today.

But I really did well on handstands, I did one on a picnic table!!!  It was awesome, I held it for like 5 seconds and then did it like 10 more times.  It's my avatar ;D.

Then I also did random conditioning throughout the day: 1x2 HSPUs, 3x15 PPPUs, 1x15 tuck jumps.

Nutrition:

Breakfast- fruit loops
Lunch- triple slice peanut butter sandwich
Snack- tostitos and salsa
Dinner- ???

Wow I'm a fatass.

Wednesday, May 12

Open Gym today!!!  It was sick, I finally got to meet Jake Chess and it was awesome.  Mad hops, lol.  And people from Monroe also came so I made a bunch of new friends, we all trained together.  Lots of fun.  The good part is, I got front flips down in the gym.  Like DOWN.  Failure rate is less than 25%.  I think I'll try it off a 3 inch ledge outside.

Thursday, May 13th

I'm mad, can't try fronts outside today.  I have loads and loads of homework.  I can't make that planche vid either.  And I'll update this after my workout today, in the night.

Today was basically just handstand work, just like I would work and then every 3 minutes I'd do a handstand.  Great practice, they're getting a lot better I can tell.

Nutrition:

Breakfast- waffles
Lunch- triple slice peanut butter sandwich, pudding, and a nutrigrain
Snack- don't remember
Dinner- don't remember

Sorry, I'm doing this on Saturday >.>

Friday, May 14th

I hate my life.  I really do.  I was about to order my Daescents, like I was at the computer.  Then my dad told me to check the mail, and whoop-de-frickin doo, there comes my middle of quarter progress report.  I had a C, 2 Bs, and 2 As, which my parents didn't like, so guess what, I'm not getting my Daescents until "I have proven myself in studies".

[/rant]

Anyway, I came home, and tried my best to do HSPUs, and figured out I can do 1 perfect one, and on good days, 2.  So throughout the day I did something like 1x3, 2x2, 1x2?  Something like that.  Additionally, I did 3x10 PPPUs and 2x15 close grip pushups, and then 1x20 far pushups (I don't know what the name is, it's like my arms are way in front of my head and my body is stretched out.  It works my shoulders pretty well).  I practiced Tuck planches too, and I found a really good hand position that allows me to hold them.  I still can't get them with shoes though, my butt doesn't go high enough.

Oh, and I tried a freestanding HSPU, and I got the negative :D.  Better than nothing, I suppose!

I have 2 tests and an essay on Monday, so probably just random conditioning this weekend.  Again I have to skip the front flip :(.

Nutrition:

Breakfast- waffles
Lunch- triple slice peanut butter sandwich, juice, nutrigrain, and something else (I forgot)
Snack- 2 eggs omelet, chickpeas for protein, apple, pear, banana (I'll start listing fruits here, I haven't done that so far even though I eat them every day)
Dinner- bread and more chickpeas

Saturday, May 15th

Today was pretty good.  Didn't get to go outside because it was primarily a conditioning day, and also had to work on a project at a friend house in the afternoon.  I woke up and did 20 crunches to start off the day, and then came downstairs to eat breakfast and start conditioning.  Here's pretty much what I did: 1x2 HSPUs, 1x1x1 HSPU (from now on, the third number in HSPUs is going to be if I attempted one and only got the negative - so the above set is 1 set of 1 HSPU and one negative), 2x15 close grip pushups, 3x10 PPPUs, 1x15 tuck jumps, and 1 attempt of a pistol on each leg.  I got the right, and I *almost* got the left, just needed a tiny bit of assistance.  Need to work on leg strength ALOT.

I also got maybe the best handstand of my life.  I don't know exactly how long it was, but I'm going to guess maybe 13 seconds or so.  I could feel every minute movement of my body, and control it with just my hands.  It was magic...until my 4 year old brother pushed me over :P.  I've been trying so much to do it again, but I dunno how.  Maybe with more practice every single one will be like that :D.

Tuck planches were also good, I figured out that the closer I start my hands off to my feet the easier it gets.  Got a solid 5 second one.  I'm also trying to fix my L-sits because I realized that 1. I'm leaning back and 2. My arms are crazy bent.  It doesn't look clean at all.  I'll try to keep my back and arms straight and start from the Tucked L-sit.

Oh and before I got to my friends house I played tag with my brother in the back deck for about 30 minutes.  I would vault over the railing every time he got close, and pop vault back up whenever he got back again LOL.  Fun stuff.  Also a big golden retriever tried to kill me and I pop vaulted over the railing and into the house, it was awesome.  Just kidding it was an old dog and it was just standing there, but pretending is fun too :D.

I pigged out like HELL at my friend's house, here's todays nutrition:

Breakfast- an egg omelet
Lunch- rice, potatoes, and more chickpeas!
Friend's house- sugary granola bar and plate full on nachos with salsa, cheese, and olives and chocolate chip cookies
Dinner- forgot

Nomnomnomnomoreo.

Sunday, May 16th

I woke up, and did crap and then worked out.  Had loads of tests.  Here's what I did: 2x10 PPPUs, 1x20 Far pushups, 2x10 left arm Side pushups, 1x20 alternating Spiderman pushups, 1x10 corner dips, 1x5 corner dips, 1 pistol each leg (legs accidentally bent), 1 pistol right leg and 1 assisted pistol left leg.

Some of the above may need explaining.  The Side pushups are something I invented, basically you go into pushup position and turn your upper body 90 degrees to the right for left arm workout, and 90 degrees to the left for right arm workout.  Very good one arm pushup progression.   The corner dips are done in the corner of my kitchen counter.

Also got 10 second handstand and 8 second handstand, and shrugging my shoulders really does help :D!  Also spreading my fingers seemed to help.

I tried to do a frontflip on grass, and this fear thing is really f#cking pissing me off.  I would run, jump, and then land on my feet without flipping.  I couldn't do it.  I'm going to ask my friend if I can borrow a mattress.

Nutrition:

Breakfast- waffles
Lunch- rice + something
Dinner- ate so much sh#t, just chips, salsa, and other crap I went to a party.

Sorry for the bad mood, I'm quite tired :-\.

Monday, May 17th

My first rest day.  I can't believe how hard it is to just rest.  It literally took all of my willpower not to drop down and do twenny :P.  Even so, I couldn't resist going online and figuring out how to fix my Frogstand.  Hopefully getting it for 30 seconds straight armed will help my Tuck planche's form.

Oh and also I did 1x5 pullups and 1x5 chinups in the bathroom at school (hey it's better than nothing :P).  This was before I declared my rest day :).

Nutrition:

Breakfast- some fruity crap cereal
Lunch- oh boy, they had meat at school, and I chose today to bring money.  I ate...2 cookies and an ice cream.  I felt like a sinner after.
Snack- none
Dinner- lentils and rice

Tuesday, May 18th

Today, I came home and got right down to it :).  Here's the workout, I did 1x3 HSPUs, 3x10 PPPUs, and 3x15 close grip pushups.  That's all for the upper body today.  But I'm not sure about something, first: if 10 PPPUs in one set are getting too easy for me, should I scale it up, or would I be no longer training for strength and switching to hypertrophy?

Then I realized that my legs were lagging far far behind my upper body and I needed to do something to even things out.  So I thought I'd work on the pistol.  And there I go, trying to do a pistol, anddddd it was terrible.  Actually at first I thought it was good but then I read the Beastskills article.  I was falling into it, bending my lifted leg a LOT on the way back up, and falling pretty much every two seconds.  Then I read the Beastskills article, and I started progressing to the full pistol.  I took my center table and I did them onto there a bit (its about 1-2 feet tall).  I got them pretty solid on the table and I'm going to keep doing them on that for a few day, and then I'll switch to something lower.  Sets aren't available but I got some good conditioning in with the troubleshooting and stuff.

Frogstands are going well, I did a 20s, 17s, and 30s at arms at 135°.  It really wasn't that hard, I only stopped all three times because of losing balance.  After I get a solid 1 minute I'm moving back to Tuck planche and seeing if those have gotten any better.

Ahh I need flexibility drills!  I want to learn high kicks for tricking and my crescents can only go with straight legs to about 3'.  I can't lift my legs in front of me (keeping them straight) even up to stomach height.  I need drills to allow them to rise height.  I think this is hamstring flexibility.  What drills should I do to get the full/side split?

Nutrition:

Breakfast- waffles
Lunch- triple slice peanut butter sandwich, juice and a nutrigrain
Snack- rice and something
Dinner- don't know yet

Wednesday, May 19th

I didn't get to go to Open Gym...phooey.  I did get some good conditioning in tho.  Also worked a lot on pistol progression and had a solid day in that.  Oh and I made a thread (http://www.americanparkour.com/smf/index.php/topic,26876.0.html) for some questions I had since no one reads this...lol.  I also got some good answers, thanks David M, Elet, and Steven Low!

Here's my conditioning, it was a good amount: 2x3 HSPUs, 3x15 PPPUs, 20 alternating Spiderman pushups, 3x4 Pistols each leg (on something 20" high) and 2x20 Prisoner squats.  The review: I scaled the quantity up for PPPUs, but after reading Steven Low's comment I'm going to increase the quality of them by moving my hand down.  The pistols felt really really easy but strangely I felt sore the next morning...oh well that's probably a good thing.  I'll follow through with them.  The Spiderman pushups felt realllly good, I was challenged but I finished the set.  I might step it up to 2 sets today, or maybe not.

Planche Work!  30s frogstand, 18s frogstand, and 14s frogstand.  I felt like I could definately have held the first one for at least 45 seconds.  Stupid balance is screwing up my results :(.

Nutrition:

Breakfast- wafflesss
Lunch- triple slice peanut butter sandwich, juice, cheese and crackers, nutrigrain bar
Snack- rice and potatoes
Dinner- lentils

Poobah.

Sunday, May 23

I haven't posted for a few days.  This is probably because I am losing interest in this (the log, not parkour, I love parkour ;D).  Therefore I have concluded that this is because I am too lazy to write down all the workouts I do (for example, 2x5 HSPUs, 3x15 PPPUs).  So, I have decided to turn this into a Parkour log.  I will still condition the same as before, however I will only write significant breakthroughs of conditioning in this log (like 60s Tuck planche hold, 20 second handstand, 5 HSPUs, etc).  The things that will appear in this log will be only my parkour training now.

Well, now that thats cleared up, let's go!

I went to Boston today and yesterday for a baby shower, and of course the first thing that popped into my head was PARKOUR?!?  I was going to find some guys to train with until I found out I had about zero free time :(.  I still got some great training in, though!  In front of my uncles house there was this great gap about 7'6", give or take a few.  I practiced precisions there for about an hour total during the two days, and finally before I left I did 2 sets of 10 precisions each and it put a nice burn on my legs.

I also found this SICK rail set, which I practiced my new sit turns on :) but then I figured out I only land them fluidly 50% of the time ???.  Something to practice, I guess.  Also, I didn't measure, but the rails were probably about 5'6"-6' away from each other, and after attempting for about 10 minutes I landed a clean kong to cat from one to another :D.  It felt SOOOO good.  I also got it on video so as soon as my camera finishes charging I'll upload it.

Oh and I'm also not going to write the nutrition because frankly it's too difficult.  I mostly eat Indian food and it's way too hard to describe in American terms.  I'll write if I was a fatass or a great eater if need be, though.

I was a fatass.  Loads and loads of cake since we threw my mom a surprise b'day party, and also pizza.

Well that's about it for today, cya.

I had the greatest find.  I downloaded a PDF of Building the Gymnastic Body by Coach Sommers, and it is the most amazing thing I have ever gotten.  It provides detailed explanations for every conditioning exercise I have ever dreamt of, and progressions too.  And it's all bodyweight ;D.  At DFS (the elementary school I train at) I did loads of the exercises, like Bulgarian dips, wide-grip pullups, Korean pullups, etc.  Pullups were feeling SO EASY.  I finished the book :).

Also at DFS, I worked on my sit-turn now and it's getting more consistent.  Also, my exit distance for kongs is getting a lot better, I can just about clear a 5 foot table with a kong placing my hands at the start of the vault and stretching my legs.  My balance is also improving and I am walking along rails with utmost confidence.  I think I'll try my first rail precision before next week :).  I also figured out I can monkey vault at my nipples, which gave me a major confidence boost.  LOOOOVE IT.

We have this huge rock at my school, it's literally about 40x40 feet with varying heights and stuff and it's fantastic for training.  It's also across the road from the girl's tennis team.  Also I did a handstand on the top of the rock today, and one of the girls was like woah thats sick and another major confidence boost.  Also like 6 people told me "I got mad hops" and I should join the long jump.  And the high jump.  And all the jumps.  LOL.  Feelin good.

Also I found this part by Coach Sommers where he said if you want to increase gains in basic strength with planche work you should do one progression for 6-8 weeks, without changing the set time or set number, just stay the same.  I'm first going to build up to Tuck planche again and then start doing it for whatever time and sets for 6 weeks, we'll see the exact numbers when I get there.

Hopefully Open Gym today, I really want to go but it's unconfirmed.  I've been watching tutorials for sideflips and cheat gainers, and I'm determined to perfect my front flip today and then try it on grass.  Need to get that technique better.  I'll update on what happened tomorrow.

Thursday, May 27th

Ahh, yesterday was a fail. Waste of 10 bucks.  Right before I went to Open Gym, I was doing a climbup and I smacked my elbow on a brick wall.  I had absolutely no confidence and got just about nothing done.  I tried front flips and landed on my back every time, even though I've cleanly landed them many times at the gym.  Also I tried a sideflip and landed on my head :/.

Anyway, but then I went to this high school in the next town, and it was the hugest thing I've ever seen.  So many awesome spots.  I got this nice 9 foot precision from maybe 1 foot difference between the two surfaces, and catbalanced up the concrete barrier near some steps.  It was about 25 feet high at the highest point and I QM'd it in 8-10 seconds.  SICK.  Also had some nice handstands and got over the fear of dive rolls on concrete.

Friday, May 28th

Went back to that school and did about 1-2 hours of exploring/parkour.  I got this nice monkey vault, and tested my max height for them which is now about an inch under nipple height :).  Also had this great 6-7 foot pop vault, except for this tiny safety tap at the top.  Ah well, it was still the most efficient I've ever been LOL.  Also a nice kong to precision, with a bit of a 2-3 foot drop or so, which was a first.  Didn't have my camera though, I was mad.  It was a huge mental barrier for me to break, and I got it after 10 or so minutes of pumping up to it.

It would take more time than I have right now to describe everything I did at the school, so I'll summarize by saying it was one of the greatest training sessions I've ever had and I really wanna go back there :).

Saturday, May 29th

Haven't really done anything yet, preparing for these guests coming in about 20 minutes :).  However I finally uploaded my kong to cat vid, here it is: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J2XXBrkRDq8

It's the first one I've ever done!

Sunday, May 30th

MY friend slept over yesterday, so we just gamed till 1 ;D.  But the morning was so great.  First we played tennis, and my friend who is practically a pro, he's a complete beast (wins some sort of tourney every week lol) said my shots were really nice.  Then I had an intenese game with someone else who I always lost to (my best score against him was 6-2) and I lost again.  But I started out winning 3-0, then he came back, then it was 5-5, then he went to 7 and beat me 7-5.  It was so tiring tho, I felt awesome after.

Then we went for a run in the woods, and I had my first nature training session.  It.  Was.  Amazing.  I found so many fantastic spots, I precisioned over two fallen logs on top of a stream, did some great balancing on them, QMed on a log that was 7 feet above the water, vaulted some trees, etc.  I am going to do that again soon.  It just made me think so...out of the box.  I loved it.  That is what parkour is all about.

Then we watched Ironman 2 and I pigged out with a tray of fries and a Slushie.  Ahh, it's only one day :P.  Then I landed my first kong to precision at the theater!  It wasn't that great, it was only at slightly above belly button height, and maybe a 2-1/2 foot exit distance but it was a level one and I felt great after.

Yeah, it was an awesome day :).

Tuesday, June 1st

Crap it's June!  I just hit me that I have a sh#tload of work/tests to do this month but on the bright side summer is almost here :D which means 3 hours minimum of pk training per day :D :D!

Anyways, not much was done today.  Watched some vids after I came home and had to go to the Academic Banquet at my school.  We got gold water bottles tho haha (painted yellow not solid - I wish :P).  There I ate pasta, bread rolls, salad, cake, and cheese.  Lol.

I'll try and get some training done tomorrow, I wish I could've today...

Wednesday, June 16th

Wow, I haven't done this in FOREVOR!  I've been training though.  Unfortunately I missed a week because I was loaded on schoolwork.  So why did I decide to come back and write, you ask?  Well because today was AWESOME :D!  Oh, and I'm home today and tomorrow because it's finals week and I've got none these two days.

I started off the day studying for my French final (not the awesome part :P) and then my mom and I had to go to a load of places.  We went to the library and while my mom was getting some books I did parkour outside.  I got a dash vault at belly button height or so, and some nice exit distance on kongs.  Also I did the highest wall run I've ever done :).  It turns out all this time I haven't been putting my foot at waist height although I thought I had been doing so.  They feel a lot better now that I am.

Then I went to pick my brother up from school, and he was late so I took a "walk" ;).  Found some nice spots and worked on stride precisions, they felt really nice.  Also, I forgot to mention yesterday I felt really flowy haha so I worked on sit turns, and they look amazing.  I literally feel like water flowing over the rail.  So I did this at my brother's school and felt good :).

Then I went to these huge woods and got some nature training down.  I just got some new kicks (they're not parkour shoes, but my Daescents are coming next week :D) and I didn't wanna get them wet, but I did some precisions on logs across a stream and nailed every one.  I guess when there's a consequence to screwing up, my body unconsciously does everything right.  Wierd.  Also my precisions have gotten better, I'm tucking more at the peak and it feels good now.  Also did some precisions in the woods, strides, you get the point ;)

After the woods I found this clearing with picnic tables and that means...VAULTS!  And...I GOT MY FIRST KONG ACROSS A PICNIC TABLE LENGTHWAYS!  It was 6 feet long, and after mustering up the courage I nailed one.  And then two, and then I kept going till I got it every time.

Then I had this long (1 mile?)jog down a road, and I ended up in some park.  There was a playground, and I did some nice long dive rolls and 3x5 pullups and got a nice precision, about 7'6"-8'.  Then I went home.

AWESOME DAY!

Thursday, June 17th

Ok, well I didn't do much today, just the usual conditioning (pushup variations, pistol progressions, etc.) but I GOT MY RECORD FOR A HANDSTAND!

17 SECONDS!  NEW HIGH SCORE!

Yeah, that's it for today.  Awesome, though.

Friday, June 18th

Watched this amazing video and it inspired me to start strength training more.  So I went to a pullup bar and did some sets, I'm at about 5 or 6 pullups right now easily.  Also did a set of 10 bar dips, and improved kong exit distance by about a foot with some added technique (tucking legs into chest more).  I also improved my precision landings using the same technique.  I've been doing it wrong for the past 6 months, but better changing it late than never ;D.

Also my roll is AWESOME now, it feels like I'm on a pillow.  No contact with spine or hip whatsoever.  I love it.

Pretty much it for today, cya guys!
