The dated are the 15th and the 30th.

I wouldn't mind going to Keolu Park in kailua. I've only looked at it from the street, looks cool enough.  i think i posted some pics in hotspots.

Other suggestions?

Im down for Kaena but cant really do much there due to ankle. Plus, I hope you know that measn not a lot of people will come cuz that is "to far" even though we are on an island ;)

I don't think I've ever been to kaena point so this is awesome. but I do have work... maybe I can call in late, I wanna really explore out there. Or I'll head out early or something.

i just looked at the directions online. i stay in waianae so im close but there was two seperate areas. the closest would require me to take farrington up and the other i would have to go down and around to Kamehameha  ::) and take that up like towards waimea. so where would be meeting at. please say the up farrington one :-\

good question...last time I went there I was at the entrance that's just a little past dillingham airfield, so that's what I was talking about.  hmm, anyone have a real preference besides randy?  Cause I don't mind going Randy's way to the point (going from the other side of the point...Makaha side).  We'll get to the same point, just different terrain then last time went.  Lets make a decision by Friday please.

Both ways are basically a 2-3 mile hike to the point...there is a trail but it's rocky and what not...so wear appropriate clothing and footwear.  We're most likely going to get wet at some point, just cause the water is so beautiful up there and it can get muddy.  I'd bring lots of water and some food, there's no restrooms or freshwater sources on the way there, so bring more then you think you're going to need.

When: May 16th @ 10:30am meet up
Where:  Entrance to Kaena point...Makaha side.  NOT DILLINGHAM SIDE
What to bring:  gear you don't mind getting dirty, and water/food

3rd spot....for next time


was tons of fun...met up kinda late.  Only had Me, Randal, Stacie, and Emily.  Basically never used the trail, just followed the edge of the cliffs....did tons of exploring, climbing, jumping, and swimming.  Very little PK specific techniques, but very movement oriented.  Was beautiful...Kaena point is always beautiful.

Looks like you had a blast. Some of those pools seem small and shallow, tho... how high were you dropping in from?

thanks we did, although i have to admit it wasn't like a normal jam with conditioning and what not...we kind of just went out and played.  Dunno if I should've lead some light conditioning and what not before we started?

the 1st spot we jumped from was maybe 4-5ft drop into 5-6 ft deep pool...after I checked how deep the water was, I did it first.  it's kind of like doing a precision.  I'm 10 times more comfortable with water then I am on land, so I knew it was good.  It just looked scary, I wouldn't have done it if I thought it was too iffy.
