« on: September 19, 2006, 04:13:14 PM »
I just got into this sort of thing and wish to figure out a way to progress better instead of experincing pain. when i do front flips it seems i learn too hard in a crab walk sorta way and some other ways but once i get up from it, i start experince back and chest pains. so does anyone got any advice on how to fix this ?

You should watch ALL of these videos in order:

I guarantee that if you practice these tutorials, you will advance much faster and easier.

Good luck with your front flips!

Neither of these tutorials have anything specifically about frontflips.  Can someone please show me a tutorial on frontflips.  Thanks.

Sorry, I got this thread mixed up with the one on frontflips.  Seriously though, does anyone know where I can read or watch a good tutorial on frontflips.  Thanks.

Take your pick...

Neither of these tutorials have anything specifically about frontflips.

TricksTutorials has plenty of tutorials, including one for frontflips. DogenTricks' tutorials will improve your overall parkour, tricking, and freerunning performance. The Blocking tutorial will greatly increase your performance of frontflips.

The two main things to focus on to successfully land the front flip well is the Block and really focus on throwing your hands up when you jump.  These two things are what really give you the height for the flip.  Good Luck
