Spot Classes = Awesome
« on: September 17, 2006, 09:04:24 AM »
MAN that was fun!

Good crowd, good instructors and a totally sick workout for this old guy!! I think everything from my neck down is sore today!!

Anyone have any tips on recovery? My quads feel like bricks and I'm mewling like a kitten every time I go up and down my stairs...

Definitely looking forward to next week. Hopefully bring some friends along...

Just some quick thoughts:

1) If ongoing classes happen, could you look into adding a weekday night class? It would give some of us the opportunity to keep coming without getting too much flak from wives/husbands, girl/boyfriends etc for spending our weekend time in the gym instead of with them.  ;D

2) How about some homework? Either reinforcing skills learned that week, or prep for upcoming weeks?

Thanks for a great class! See y'all next week!

Cheers
Jim

Hey, I am glad you liked the classes! Remember, active rest is the best way to help get rid of the soreness. Even though you may feel like you cant do it, go out for a short jog as opposed to just sitting around all day. This will help speed up the recovery process.

We will definitely take your suggestions into consideration. The first class was a learning process for us as well and we are working on making them even better in the future.

Hopefully I can make it down next week and shoot off some pics to give to Demon for the website

Cheers, thanks Ryan.
Going to be at weddings the next two weeks anyhoot..a friend's next week and then mine the one after!!! Enforced rest!!

Sat..my doctor said to press in at the spot when you sneeze or cough....to help keep things in....It really helps! Hurts less....

See y'all in a few weeks!! Be safe, have fun!
