this is great! lol. i dont know how all of you missed the sarcasm though. and if it was real telling him to go do the drop isnt a good thing. what happens when he does it and then parkour gets blamed for yet another death?

Obvious seriousness is obvious. Stop mocking serious Parkourists.

that's a nice drop. I like to train drops like that daily. I'm on my 7th day of training now and I've done like 100 20 foot drops, training for the 30 footer. My knees really hurt, probably cause I've been walking so much. My back also hurts, I guess from my heavy school backpack.. but that's why I'm training 20 foot drops so my legs and back get stronger so they don't hurt during walking or backpack carrying.

lol

wow you learn fast. That's at least 2 drops a minute. You must have a really good wall hop and climb up then too to get back up 50 feet so fast

Not smart of OP to make a pointless thread like this. Not smart of some of the other posters to believe this.

Why? It's in the socialize thread. It's pretty rude of you to insult many other serious traceur's intelligence. Do you honestly think there is something wrong with a thread based solely on humor, poking fun at the common newb high drop conversation? Don't take yourself too seriously, cause THAT is pointless.

This forum is a place for practitioners to be a part of a community, where one can speak their minds and be themselves. So let them.

I put this topic in "socialize" for a reason. Anything goes in socialize, and the fact that you missed that, makes you the "not smart" one my friend.

Sorry for any negative attitude. I just feel offended, and justified in what I'm saying. I take parkour as serious as anyone else. I'm sure you'll understand.

You guys don't know how to parkour right, you need to get your 10 foot drops down first(1 story buildings are good places to drill this.)  And also, your shoes probably don't have enough cushioning for these sort of drops.  I'd suggest these babies.  Totally worth the money, they tone muscles as well!
