30-40 foot drops
« on: March 10, 2010, 04:43:30 PM »
Alright, so I've been training for 3 days now and there's this like 35 foot drop I wanna do. My landing technique is really good, I land on the balls of my feet and absorb everything with my legs, and roll onto my side when needed, so I know I can handle it. That's what good landing technique is for right? I'm wearing super padded shoes so I don't hurt my feet too. Any pointers? Anyone else do a 40 foot drop? I know David Belle does one in the second District B-13. I land like he does, so I'm sure I'll be good. I can't wait to tell you all how it goes! my friends think I'm gonna wimp out, but I'll show them when I do it at recess. Wish me luck!

Is this a joke????

Second, please tell me how long one foot is. The typical ceiling is 10 feet high. Do realize how high that is?

Third, that bazillion-feet drop he does in B13 Ultimatum...that's fake. That's like 4 stories down.

Finally, I really hope this is a joke, or get ready to be flamed.

I call shenanigans. If you were expecting anything other than a flame war, you're a moron.

If this is a joke.  ;D Good one. Very good. Lmao

If it is not.  >:( I hope you break both your legs. I really honestly do. Or maybe die. Not sure here. Social Darwinism needs to do its thing though.

If this is Nick Bishop from Take Flight that I am replying to.  :o Good luck.

I laughed when he said recess.

I smell a troll, to be honest.
There isn't many ways to get over "Alright, so I've been training for 3 days now and there's this like 35 foot drop I wanna do." without it being a troll.

lol, I almost feel offended that no one recognized my username or picture and knew this was a joke, cause I recognize all yours, but I guess that's just me.

Anyway, I was hoping for this to be a fun chance to mock the whole flaming newbies trying drops conversation. you know, like "o yea dude, I"ve been training for 5 days and did a few 30 foot drops too!"

so yea, have fun

If this is a joke.  ;D Good one. Very good. Lmao

thank you lol

I really didn't think anyone would think this was serious

Dude, do the jump. They totally pwn the n00bs. I've only broken my legs twice and my spine once, other than that it's fantastic. We should chill sometime soon.

A couple more days and you'll be ready to do the jumps with knives, loaded guns and bricks tied to your huevos.
