Long Island Traceurs
« on: September 12, 2006, 05:06:08 PM »
Well, I'm gone, but there are still other traceurs all over the island. If you look here and you're in nassau or suffolk, get in contact with a guy whose aim is 'fitchesbluefox', he's the guy to talk to about getting together with some other traceurs. Tell him gareth sent you, and please please keep the scene hot!

Peace out for a while nypk,
twitch

Nice!! Major in making friends, that's the most important thign you get from college. Get good grades and it really doesn't make a bit of difference what course you choose, just get the grades and make the friends, the rest all changes anyway :)

Don't even go there. Rethink what you just said, who you are, who you said it to, and in what context my phrase was used. Thanks.

Affirmitive.

Parkour is no sport.

It might be an activity that contains athletic (or say even sporting) elements but due to its solely non-competitive character as well as its real world appreciating background and its strong mental/philosophical influence it doesn't qualify as sport. It's a tool of expression. To sharpen your senses and awareness. A form of art. As a matter of fact, Chess is more of a sport than Parkour. So I don't really care who you are, but please don't call it just sport. Ever.

edit: ps: I'm not here to make any enemies, but before you decide to pull your ego-trip card again, you might wanna reconsider who you are talking to. At least for a little while...  ;)

Ok, the context it was given in was a poster. Try putting that definition on a poster and see how many people will stop and read it, go for it. It's not that I don't like you, this was probably just a bad first impression of eachother.
