2/24/2010 WOD question
« on: February 24, 2010, 09:44:52 AM »
Hey. I'm in upstate new york and we got some nasty weather comming tonight and even more unfortunate, I don't have any bars in the house that I can use to do the pull ups. Is there any alternatives that I could try? They closed off the weight room this week at my school(moving new stuff in there)
And where can I buy a bar that I can install in my home? Like where would be the best place to find one.

You can try wrapping a cushion on top of an open door for hand comfort and do pull-ups on your door. Or you can latch your fingers onto the frame of a door and go for it. However, I am not responsible if either of those break while performing these.

I got the iron gym for about 25 bucks.  Not a bad buy if you really have no other choice.
