What's up everyone.
I'm an absolute beginner to Parkour. It just seems really darn fun so I want to learn.
I'm 17 years old and I don't have much stamina and I'm not strong at all (I'm pretty skinny lol) so I want to get better at those as well. I'm really quick though which I think helps? But runs longer than a mile I start to die lol. Where do you start? Should I just dive into Parkour tutorials or should I get in great shape first before learning Parkour related stuff? I really want to start Parkour right away but I understand getting in shape isn't something you can accomplish overnight haha. Thanks.

High five bro.

You came off pretty excited, that's good. You also gave some common sense unlike a "few" others :)

Check out the WOD (Workout Of the Day) on the main page. This is great start, but you may want to ask one of the more "conditioning-inclined" members for a custom workout.

I did pushups, lunges, squats, dragon flags, raise-the-roof, and some dumbbell lifts. (30, 60, 70, 20, 30/12 respectively)

Also, do lots of sprints and tabata's. Browse around http://www.eatmoveimprove.com/

Most of all though, have FUN and be SAFE!

And don't go on roofs, or the APK Roof Police will put a cap in you! (LoL, JK!! Maybe :) )

Haha thanks man. I'll check out the WOD, do lots of tabatas (awesome that you don't need any equipment), and promise not to go on any roofs...yet :P
