Ninja Warrior Course Blueprints
« on: February 09, 2010, 06:21:30 PM »
A couple days back I found a lot of extra plywood and lumber lying around (still in good condition); and today i was watching Ninja Warrior when i thought: "Man, it'd be awesome to have a warped wall to train with. . ." It was then that the epiphany hit me and now I intend to build myself a replica of several obstacles of the Ninja warrior course, starting with the cliff hanger and the warped wall.

I have the material needed, i have the skills to make it, but what i lack are the plans/blueprints for the latest obstacles. Grant-it, they don't have to be exact to be effective, but i figure if I'm going to build this i ought to do it right. Thus far I've only found one site with numerical dimensions, and they're from the 11th competition so they might be a bit out of date:

I'm posting this for anyone else who has the urge to build yourself a challenging obstacle course, and also to ask that, if you have any other plans for the latest competitions, you please post them here.

Many Thanks!

Is the warped wall one the one where you go from flat to the angled fence thing and hang on above the water? That's tight as hell.

I want a loop personally, I wonder if it's possible to obtain enough momentum to go upside down and actually do a loop though.... hmm...
Aren't we all running?
