Of Goals and Dreams

Prologue: Over, Under, and Through. This is my promise publicly stated for all to see. Should you see me failing to achieve You have the right to correct me.
Mission Statement; To handle each and every day anew. Never pass up an opportunity to do a good thing and the right thing. To be honest, humble, and hard-working. Strong is the man who stood up for himself but stronger still he who stood up for others. Persistent like the waves that never quit to reach the shore even in calm waters. Motivation, Inspiration, may you never cease to exist even if cloaked or disguised I will find you and you shall drive me to better myself.
Every obstacle I will handle with and open and eager mind be it the next precision or homework. Like a wrestler that enters every match at full force I will handle every obstacle, challenge and duty the same way.

The Training
Until I've found my perfect routine WOD shall dictate my acivity

Thoughts: This is just the beginning. Stick to it never let up.

APK warm-up sure does what its meant to do. Felt good to move around again. I used to be very active then again that was because I was in high school wrestling. I miss it yea I can't lie but parkour gives me the same feeling that I had when I wrestled. I should elaborate on that but right now there's no time. I'll keep it in mind.
Did a few vaults I'm realizing that I don't know the names of them but i guessI don't really care too much about it I just love being outside moving the way I want. I think I'll grade myself on my efforts for that day. I think it'd be a fun way to track progress and keep record of how I feel it went that day. Maybe I'll learn something from it. Hmm How should I grade it though that's one question I'll think about today while i work out at the gym. Mull it over with my spotter. You know what I want a nickname or a callsign I thnk it'd be fun considering I never really had a nick name. Haha until I'm dubbed something else

This past weekend despite holidays and such has been quite literally been Parkour transport of choice for me. I've been vaulting, cat leaps, very few if any precision jumps though i did try a few they were not challenging enough to say the least. No strength training really just simple core exercisesplanks and the sorts. It seems I also worked on creativity! I took the same route everyday back and forth everyday since my last post and several times each day mind you. Although I consider myself somewhat adapted to the movements of parkour I found out that theres is much to learn still. My Vaults and Climb-ups are steadier (wobbly elbows on Climbs we all know that feeling when beginning) and Oh right creativity! Same route however I used as many different moves possible. Rather than a climb up over a brick wall I tried a flip over it with your midsection being a pivot point on which you rotate the rest of your body up and over the wall. That one in particular I was proud of when I realized how smooth and time saving it was plus the saved effort! That brick wall was the focus to many of the diversities I tried. One of them was a bounding type of cat leap onto the wall I could definitely say I need improvement on those. More explosiveness in legs and arm strngth though I'm proud of the movement myself.  I did a few standing wall climbs again explosiveness was lacking. I find myself doing mini parkour at school as well just cause I feel like it I get funny looks and mind you they're not flashy moves either.

On a seperate note I got a ticket today! This'd be a first for me. Public transpo.  Anyway Story is I was running late after my last class and I want to get home soon and since I had no ride today I decided to take the Sprinter  down to Oceanside from the college.  WRONG! I hopped on I hardly use the Sprinter(traim) So I forot I needed a ticket. Dummy move I know but I was running to catch the train! Anyway two stops after my pick up Six sheriffs hop on and check tickets. The girl next to me has a pass for herself and when she saw I didnt she tried to help me out but then the sheriff asked for her ticket and I couldn't let her take the blame so I gave her her ticket back and walked off at the next stop. Said good bye and tanks of course Im not rude. had a convo with the five other sheriffs while the one who busted me wrote me up. Funn good times mind you Im no too worried about it but suddenly I'm Curious about our legal and penal system not out of fear  but just cause of the new feel to it. Anyway I got court in two months....

I'm getting there Parkour is really engraving itself on to me almost quite literally. I had dreams about it as well but it only took me a few tries (in the dreams) till I mstered a leap from a stone block onto a big ol' concrete staircase  kong vault offa that onto the middle railing precision jump. What!? a Bound off block midway onto 25 step stair case  kong vault to precision jump onto railing sounded lame! Excuse my naming techniques!
