Assuming I'm back from my honeymoon and can participate, I can also host. I don't have a ton of money to feed people, but I have plenty of space, enough for a small army if many are willing to sleep on the floor. The only trick now is convincing the misses. I'll get back to you on that.

Don't worry about out of towners sleeping on the floor. Last year, I had a lot of couches and cots to offer but everyone slept in the living room crammed on the couches and floor. By choice.

This is all preliminary but...I'll be moving there at the beginning of Aug. I should be living around downtown. I MAY be able to provide some sleeping space then. I will let you guys all know more as I am completely sure about my living arrangement. But I would like to throw my hat that ring as a possibility for some housing. Cool, good to have ya. And this would probably be more appropriate in your other thread but eh, allow me to be the first to welcome you to the Minnesota scene. It's a young one but it's been growing fast over the last few years.

Now, has there been any other plans in the works for this? Now that I know I'll be in the area I can get a bit more involved. Also, I will be living at my parents house for the summer so I should have time to train (chad). Also, I had mentioned this to them before and they were willing to help out however they could. I told them it would be less work than last year so I can offer floor space too. Possibly even BBQ space if we need, or we can do it some place else. Whatever works, yo!

Wow im excited for this lol. i go to college on the 17th, but its only orientation for the first week and this is on a weekend. ill be there for sure my with my buddies chris and grant! We dont need housin as of now though because chris is goin to mcnally smith and he should have his appartment by then in st paul

Sounds really cool. I want to go but have no idea what to expect. I'm pretty new and have been trying to get a group going in my city. How do people know where to go...meet etc. I'll be living in the suburbs of the cities this summer. Could I sleep there and commute for the days?

well, i'm attempting to look up greyhounds to see if i can afford the trip. i'm going to need a place to crash, if possible...

i used Minneapolis, MN...i should be able to swing it! now all i need is a place to crash and someone to ride with. tickets say id arrive on the 20th and leave out the 23rd...

I have just purchased a futon. This means my house will have four empty beds with hot/cold running water and electricity. Two queens, two twins. I also have a cot if needed.
And if the guests really traveled far, I will cook.

Ill be there. also ill have to commute down to the cities(1hr-1.5hr drive) but that means ill have like 3-4 empty spaces in my car to get ppl from one place to the other if necessary.
