I didn't feel well on monday, but I went outside and ran my 2.3 miles in the cold wind with only shorts and a t-shirt on. Surprisingly faster than the last time I ran. Total time: 20 Minutes 22.85 Seconds. (20:22.85)

Man I have been slacking off on my training, personally I blame the cold weather. I just want it to go away so I can go outside and try something new! But Wednesday was a good day, barley any winds, tempature in the 50s and sunny!!!

I did 1 minute of the following when I got home:
-Left & Right side Planks
-Front Plank
-Leg Holds

I found a bar to do pull-ups on in my backyard. Unfortuatly the bar is so low that I have to sit down to use it, giving me a good start for L Pull-ups though. I did Three sets of L Pulls ups, and a final set of ten. After that I decided to go and work on front flips on my trampoline, I have improved a lot, still can't land them fully (I aways land on my heels), but I can do a flip better than I could a month ago.

Since it was a nice day I got out my skateboard, something I haven't used on years. I was surprised how fast I could ollie again (that was pretty much what I could do with a skateboard before anyways). The thought came to me that I should probably take up skateboarding again to help me with my parkour, since it requires a lot of balance to control one.

I finished on time for dinner with several sets of pesduo-planche pushups. Of course I did some other random exersizes also but, those are the main ones I remember fully.

Spent about two to two and a half hours at the gym, the gym's final open night :( . Now I'm looking for places in the area that had open gym and are cheep. Might b ea bit before I can go to a gym then. Good this is now I don't need to wake up sore so on Saturdays and I can actually go and practice some parkour in a more "natural" enviroment.

Update

Man I have been getting lazy on updating these. Mostly because I have been limiting my time on the internet during non-school hours to just 1 hour a day so I can spend more of my afternoon/ weekends doing stuff I want to do.

Currently I am doing an alternating day workout. One day being an upper body strength day and the next being a core/ legs day.

March 3rd - 4th, 2010

This self control of my internet usage is doing pretty well.

Yesterday (the 3rd) I started out with some weight training, then went to a park and worked on pull-ups. Later I did about half an hour of planche progressions/ wall hand stands.

Today (the 4th) the weather was beautiful, probably the most beautiful day of 2010 yet so far. I went outside for half and hour and worked on technique, mostly cat holds, kongs (I can do them well, except for the whole "diving thing" I guess they're more like running monkey's then :(  ), under bars and some brief wall runs. After I finished my outside session, after resting, I did about a little over half an hour of Russian twist and front and side planks and leg holds, each time for a minute.

After two rest days I did my two mile run, clocking in at 20 minutes 23.45 seconds (20:23.45), +0.6 slower. Pretty consistent if you ask me. I am also weighing in at 140.0 lbs (63.5 kg)

Update (5/8/2010)

Since it has been forever since I last updated this blog/ journal I'm going to post some new ideas I will do after I get better (been sick for this week, sucks)

First off I'm going to resume conditioning, it has been over a month since I last conditioned. Second, I have a possible plan I will do every Saturday, which will consist of long intense parkour specific training. And finally, since I have a video camera that I hardly use, I'm thinking about possible creating a parkour vlog to keep track of my progress.

So those are the changes I plan making, what do you think?
