Makiki District Park
1527 Keeaumoku Street
Honolulu, HI 96822-4305

Jiyoung and I went to train here today.  It's great beginner-intermediate spot.  Depending on what day you go, this place is very popular for young kids and their parents to come and play...so expect kids to be curious and parents worried.  I actually played with some really young kids for a while when we were fooling around on the play ground.  Don't know about security...no ones given us problems, usually people (kids) just like to watch so I guess just train like you normally do and it should be fine.

These can be precisioned 7-8ft on to the other just a weird angle.

For you who like to do flips, and wall spins this tree is great

Solid posts about 5-6ft apart

Skate park is basically inside of this park

Dunno if you can see it, but this is a weird set up for fences kinda fun to bounce around on them

Good for dyno's

yes tons of rails

to answer your question about security...there is none...unless there is like a swim meet-like thing or that school excercise thingy we saw today...  cause they think the kids need protection or some crap...anyways they still dont care since they work for schoola dn not park...there is no such thing as security in the park...

the park is a trapezoid, and the shortest length is along ke'eaumoku. this is about 50 meters. could be good for sprints. i have not checked it out yet so i don't know how level the grass is.

it's a half mile from my apt, so my wife and i were talking about jogging there, doing 5 x 50m sprints and jogging home. would be a nice cardio thing to do on non pk training days.

let me know if you [anyone] is interested in joining. send me an email
