today was a great day of training, i went above and beyond what i thought i could do, and went beyond when i felt like i had to quit...

Saturday, January 30, 2010:
 i did alot today its really hard to explain what i did but here it goes,
- rode my bike down and back from the park, (with a really big hill)
- worked on my hand stands
- did some wall dips(3 rounds 5 in each round)
- climb ups(3 rounds 3 in each round)
- did 10 broad jumps, broke my record and hit 9 feet  ;D
- 10 pistols on each leg, 10 leap frogs
- held out some L- sits on the fence
- heel hang some
- worked on climb ups, without my feet, so i just jumped and pulled myself up
- and i did the Perfect Pull Up workout system
- oh and i hald some Elbow levers for 20 seconds w/feet on ground...
- oh i also did some tricep dips
anyway, anyone have any tips on doing muscle ups?

thanks for this log, its kindof interesting to get ideas from.

I'm 16 and decided recently to make it my goal to incorporate more exercise into my daily routine because it feels like I'm always doing work/homework/etc.

Parkour seems like a fun/intense way to learn to dedicate youself.

Kudos!

no problem, thanks for commenting... also if you go to the apk home page, and at the top look under the tap 'train' the first thing should say 'exercise' and under there is some really great exercises that i pull alot of my workouts from.. apk is a great place to start training if your interested in it, i highly recommend you looking into it and trying it

well today was a good workout i think  :)
before i did any actual workout, i did about and hour and a half of yard work(wacking mud and roots with an axe type thing, it was a decent weight too)

Saturday, Febuary 6, 2010:
- Prayed over workout
- Stretched and Warm up
- Did some acrobats for about 45 min to an hour, just the regular front flip, and side flip(almost never landed it, and racked myself a few times  :-X :'()
- 3 rounds of the following
 * (this one i didn't do 3 sets of i just did 15-10-5 in the order of the rounds) Pull-ups
 * 15 Handstand Push-ups (assisted)
 * 10 Wall Dips
 * 5 Reverse Wall Dips (what i've been calling tricep dips)
- Then i did 1 1/2 rounds of the following
 * 10 9ft Broad Jumps
 * 10 -ft Virticle jumps
(i only did 1 1/2 rounds of that because on the second round on a broad jump i slipped and twisted my ancle and called it on the jumps)
- to cool down i did 5 pistols each leg, and a handstand
- Stretched again

well i say again, today was a good day, except for twisting my ancle (its fine now)  :D  :-Sarcasm
