Sorry, I just re read......
I think he is mainly working on reverse.
If this is true..
It is a pretty easy one to progress and get down.
First find a waist high hand rail. You can do this one with zero momentum at first.
Next stand in front of the hand rail about a foot away. Grab the rail with your left hand palm up and directly in front of your right shoulder. Basically your arm will cross your body. (This is if you are right handed and feel with this direction of spin.)
Now reach your right hand over your left and grab the bar with your palm facing away from you.
From here you are "loaded" now all you have to do is keep your upper body strong and let it assist you as you jump over the bar.
You will land on the other side facing the opposite direction of where you started.
This is technically a turn vault but when you add momentum you will make a few natural hand and body adjustments and if done right actually turn 360 instead of 180 it will be a reverse vault. just take it slow and add momentum gradually it is important that you are in control or you will always look sloppy.
If you are doing a lazy vault when you are trying reverse vaults you are not "loading" your hands. This becomes unnecessary once you get it down and you can put them side by side or what ever is natural but in the beginning it helps tell the rest of your body what to do.
you can find a ton of video tutorials on this and other vaults also and they will probably help you more than the written explanation.
Good luck. Train hard and safe.
