Looking for ASU Parkour
« on: September 03, 2006, 09:05:26 PM »
I was just wondering if there are any organizations at or around ASU that practice Parkour.  I'm new, new as in the sense that I've never even attempted Parkour, but want to learn it.  I've seen a video of people practicing at ASU, but that's about it: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DeOcZSqWeTM

Let me know if there are any Parkour groups around here.
If you want to be more direct, there's always MySpace: www.myspace.com/73349896
:)

Hello Tigerman.  Ya there is a crew called the factory brigade near there.  Alot of us are on the UF forums--> www.urbanfreeflow.com ,but i like this site a little better.  We are from Safford AZ, and there is another crew in Tuscon.  I'll add you to my myspace and we can talk a little more about PK.

Hey tigerman!
I am one of the members of tfb (thefactorybrigade) and ASU is pretty much our favorite spot to jam. we haven't been training as of recently due to insane heat, but once the weather cools down a bit we'll be back in full force. keep an eye out.

Cool, hopefully I can make it to a practice (if that's what they're called) sometime in the fall/winter!

Hi...I am also looking for a team at or near ASU.  I'm a girl just starting out...haha.  But I really want to be good at it.  I am from Safford and know a bunch of the guys on Team MoZ but I live here in Tempe for school.

hey Jiminy, you're lucky to live around ASU West... that place is by far my favorite jam spot ever. When Moksha Matt was in the scene, he trained there every day.

Hey Matt, if you're reading this, where the heck are you? it's chet and AZ misses you!

Really, like where exactly.  I'm so new to this, I wouldn't know where to look.  Like I've read before, at first you don't notice all of the possible places to do pk until you've been practicing for a while then you wake up and see great spots everywhere.  So basically, I'm still in dream land.

Yeah, motive, if you've got any pointers (or photos/videos) for what would be good at ASU West, please let us know. I'm not too far myself.

heres a news shoot we did a few years back at ASU West, actually, so there's a few spots on there, but honestly just exploring the campus early on a saturday morning is one of the most fun things ive ever done.

hey! I'm kinda new to the whole parkour thing, but i was wondering if anyone knew if there were any parkour crews near Queen Creek, San Tan Valley area, if anyone doesn't know where that is, it's aprox. 50 miles south east of Phoenix. if you guys find anything, let me know, I would LOVE to learn parkour so BADLY
