Squats will definitely help, as well as lunges, QM or anything of that sort. I've actually found that doing some pushups and increasing your arm swing power helps, as the swing is really important. Try to make sure you're swinging your arms enough into the jump.

Quadrupedal Movement. Pretty much crawling around on your hands and feet [not knees :P]. It's wonderful exercise.

Its fun too!! I'll do a warm-up exercise when i train with one of the 2 people i teach, we have QM races! Get good with ground kongs and you'll win, and you get awestruck looks from bystanders  ;)

And make sure to bring your legs in (bend your knees) in mid-air. It helps tremendously with control and landing. :)

omg after doing all the stuff he describes in theis video about 20 times/steps each -->  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Qp4K3OvhPLo&feature=PlayList&p=255954DC98A96FE6&playnext=1&playnext_from=PL&index=41

i was totally exhausted and could barely walk...is that normal for a begginner like me?  or is it just cause im a girl? or maybe i just weak?

and i cant seem to do the ground kong correctly...or at least if feels like im doing it wrong...idk...

how can i increase my stamina? cause i nvr had an ambition for anything related to running until i wanted to start parkour...

and what kind of exercises should i do for warm up, cause during practice all i can do correctly is jumping of stair steps and precision, and for cool down?

You might have pushed yourself too hard, are out of shape and aren't used to using those muscles in that way, or maybe just aren't doing them right...can't tell you unless you post a vid or come train with us so we can give you real feedback.  Girls usually have issues with QM cause of wider hips, I see girls initially struggling with the movement...so don't feel bad about not having it come naturally.  Also I've personally discovered that controlling breathing helps with QM, lots of people get winded from not being used to breath in such an unusual position...controlling your breathing helps with this.  come to one of our jams we'll show you...ozzi HIPK founder has great warm up routines and conditioning drills that will kick your ass.  We can also break down moves for you if you like.  We always have beginners so don't worry about being the only "noob."

also as a side note, try not to push yourself too hard.  Allow time to recover from a strenuous workout, and always listen to your body.  Ease into your training.

I think being exhausted after that is pretty normal. Your body probably isn't used to moving like that yet, so give it time. As for the ground kong, you can always film yourself doing it and compare it to videos of other people. As Ryan said though, girls do move differently than guys, so don't worry if you don't get it right the first few times.

breathe normally, I normally take 4 second breaths in 4 second breaths out when I do my QM.  The fun one is backwards upstais. lol.  And btw, one thing you'll learn, is that NOONE is a better traceur/traceuse than anyone else, people are more advanced, but not better or worse.  don't put yourself down, just progress at your own rate, and enjoy yourself.  Remember, we're all kids of all ages, and the world is our playground.

You're off to a great start!  Just keep conditioning at a reasonable pace.  Push yourself, but don't over do it.  Rest days are incredibly important to gaining strength, so remember to take it easy every now and again.

Squats are great for improving jump distance, and so are deadlifts.  Push-ups are always good, but I think burpees would help you more accurately train for your goal.

Training stamina just takes going out and doing aerobic things for extended periods of time.  For instance, if you want to train running endurance, go for a short run, then take a rest, and then go do another.  Intervals really help boost that kind of thing.

Happy training!

You could also try Burpee to Broad jump. I remember this being a WOD one time. It should be what your going for and you can also build a little upper body strength. I use it since I don't have any weights and the gym is a tad far.
